Episode 12- The Mages That Protect the World

The Five Great Mages.

They were people who were given this title because they were nominated as some of the strongest mages after Sara Mahinu. Sara was not one of the five great mages because she was a level above them but even, so they were recognized to be strong.

All the younger mages look up to them because, unlike the level Sara was at, they realistically had a chance to reach the same level as the five great mages. The real reason they were created was to be the pillar of hope if one day Sara Mahinu was to fall one day in battle.

The Five Great Mages were known for the elements they could use. At the same time, they could use all of the four great elements. Each of them trained one of the elements to perfection and their titles were named after that element.

Flame mage or Kiana Scarlet was the mage that controlled the flames. She was a woman with beautiful scarlet red her and a matching pair of eyes. She was counted as one of the strongest because of her flames' destructive power. Her personality was fiery just like hair and she was loud and overbearing most of the time. Her white robes only complimented her graceful beauty, but she was unable to conceal her buxom chest, so large that it seemed to contrast with her otherwise overbearing demeanor.

Golden Touch or Lucas Evanstine was the mage that controlled the sand and gold. He was a man with short blond hair and eyes that were gold. He was like a defensive mage, and he could use the sand to protect him and anything he touched turned into gold. That's why he always wears a black pair of gloves on both of his hands.

Witch of the Ice&Snow or Selene was the mage that controlled the ice. She was a girl with translucent white hair, and jewel-blue eyes that shone like sapphire. Anything could be frozen by her ice and once someone was frozen all hope was lost unless you were on a higher level than her. She was wearing a long silver gown and she had on blue gloves.

Wind Mage or Saito Urashima the mage that controlled the winds. He was a man with forest-green hair and yellow eyes. He was wearing casual clothes.

Lighting Mage or Lily the mage that controlled the lighting. She was a girl with jet-black hair and electric blue eyes. She was wearing a black dress that complimented her slender figure.

The five great mages just sat in their seats staring at the beautiful man with light sandy-blond hair. The young boy's eyes were caramel, and he looked beautiful. Even more than the girls that were gathered in the room.

Kiana stood up and summoned a magic staff into the area, she wondered how she didn't sense him coming into the room.

"Who the hell are you?!" Kiana shouted, looking at Shito. She was a naturally loud person, so her shouting was normal to all the people in the room. "And what are you doing her br–"

"...Be quiet."

Shito channeled mana into his words, and the girl instantly closed her mouth. He had the power to infuse magic into his words to make anything happen.

"Hmmm… Hmmm… Hmmm!" Kiana was trying to force words out of her mouth but to no avail, nothing was working.

None of the other magicians made a single move, they wanted to see what was going to happen to the flame mage. After all, she was the one to start the fight, not everyone walked into the building they were in, and he had a Lemore Academy school uniform on. So, they knew he was a student at the school.

Sara looked at her brother and sighed, she knew that he was going to do that if he arrived in front of all the people. He didn't like people shouting at him but that wasn't the reason he did that to the flame mage. It was because he had his kids with him, and the girl was being too loud.

"Aunty!" Illya said, jumping off her father's shoulders, and running over towards Sara. She was happy to see her aunt again and she was going to have fun sitting with her because of her sister being with her.

Illayaka jumped off her father's shoulders and hid behind him. This was her first time meeting Sara, the sister of her father. So, she was nervous about meeting her.

"Go ahead, she is your aunt too," Shito said, tapping his daughter on the back. He already knew she was nervous, so he was trying to make her feel confident. "There is no need for you to be nervous. Nobody here can hurt you."

Peeking behind his shoulder, Illayaka looked at Sara and noticed that she was hugging Illya.

She ran over to them and sat on the chair that was beside her. Illya noticed her sister beside her and smiled.

"Aunty say hi to my sister, Illayaka!"

Sara smiled at Illayaka. "Hello, Illayaka… I am your aunt, Sara Mahinu," she said greeting her niece. She wanted to know where the child came from but with all the other mages present, she didn't want to ask in front of them.

"Take care of my children, big sis."

Shito snapped his fingers and nullified the effects of his magic, allowing Tiana to be able to talk again and she teleported out of the room.

Looking at Tiana, Sara's eyes started to shine brightly, she was a little furious that her brother was about to be attacked by one of the mages. Even though he could handle himself at the end of the day he was her little brother and what big sister wouldn't want to protect their little brother?

"Sit down and don't ever think about attacking him again. I'm going to let this one slide since you didn't know he was my little brother."

Tiana felt the pressure coming from her words and she immediately sat down. She knew that if she was to say something she would be killed on the spot. When you are strong enough to protect yourself why would you care about the government rules and that was the exact type of person Sara was, she didn't care about the government rules. If someone attacked her family, then they died it was as simple as that. Even the government would fall by her hands if they made the wrong moves.

The other mages just looked at Tiana, they knew that her fiery personality would get her in trouble one day and that day had arrived because she attacked the brother of the strongest mage.

"Is that boy… really your brother?" Selena asked. Her voice was as cold as ice, probably because of ice magic. "This is the first time that I have ever heard of you having a brother."

Even though they heard the word 'sister' coming from his mouth, everyone in the room was still doubtful. After all, even at first glance, you could barely tell that they were siblings. Shito's hair was a lighter shade of color leaning more toward a more to a sunny, and Sara's hair was a dark shade of brown.

"Yes, he is my younger brother. I've never told anyone about my family because it's no one's business."

When her brother was younger, she did everything to keep him out of the eyes of the public because she knew that people would use her brother against her. After all, she was getting stronger day by day and people were getting jealous of her.

Lucas looked at the two children and noticed that they were hugging Sara tightly. It was not something that would be seen between people. They were too close, almost like they were family.

Are those little girls her siblings too? They do look like the boy that just walked by so that's the only possibility because the color hair they have is nothing I've seen before, and I explored the world. Lucas thought as he put his hands on his lap. There was something that he needed to figure out and he knew that all the others were wondering the same thing he was.

Who were those two kids in her lap?! Why were they so close to the strongest mage in the world?!

Each of them knew that silence was not going to get them anywhere, so somebody had to ask the question everyone wanted to know but the question was… who was going to do it?

"Who are those little girls that are sitting in your lap?" Selene put her hand on her face and forced a smile before asking, "Are they perhaps your other siblings?"

There it was Selene had broken the silence and asked the question that everyone was wondering. It wasn't every day that kids would be interacting much with the strongest mage. Sara was never seen in public so people could only admire her from a distance.

Everyone in the room found it strange that there were two little girls sitting on her lap, so someone had to ask the question everyone was wondering.

"...These two girls are my nieces."

"..."

The five great mages were bewildered; they didn't know what to say. It took them a while to process the information. Those were the children of her brother, but he was a boy that didn't look like he was over the age of seventeen, but it all made sense because of the hair color they had. That silky light sandy-blond hair was something that had never been seen before.

Illayaka and Illya looked at the mages around the room and smiled. The two girls didn't know why the people were so silent, but they wanted a lively place again, so they wanted to do their best to break the silence.

"We are the children of Shito Mahinu and Tenka Vermillion." the two girls said in unison. They were happy to be able to introduce themselves by their family name. "Illayaka Mahinu and Illya Mahinu."

The twins shouted out their names, and the mages looked at them. They were shocked to hear that the girl had Vermillion blood inside of them.

"Y-you two are… from the vermillion fam—"

"Yes, they are from the vermillion family." Sara interrupted. She was ready for the mage to hurry up and stop talking. "We are about to start the duels soon so be quiet and watch the battles."

With those words everyone became silent, and they looked down at the students that were getting ready to fight. All the students were down there walking around to their designated areas.
