Boar V Bull

Beu stands bruised and bloodied, surrounded by jagged rocks.

"You cannot comprehend the great pain you are putting upon me. I remember seeing you as a young child, I was always taught to protect kids like you." Ridner rises from the floor holding a stone war hammer.

"I do not need protection, not from anybody, especially you!" She cracks her knuckles.

"You insufferable little-" Beu cuts him off with an uppercut to the jaw.

He goes flying back as the stone hammer falls into the ground. Beu looks down with surprise, as the ground around her liquidfiles to a quicksand state.

"I grow tired of your struggles." Ridner appears behind Beu preparing to swing the hammer.

Beu dodges the attack by using her power to rocket further in the ground. She then blasts down, launching herself out, and slams Ridner's chest with all the force.

"Then I'll keep struggling until I die!" She lands on solid ground as the head of a boar appears behind her.

Ridner stumbles back gripping at his chest, barely able to breathe.

"So the mighty Bull has a deadly weakness after all." She smirks, as she stands with an aura of power.

Ridner reaches out a gripping hand. The walls of the tower begin to close in on Beu. She destroys the oncoming walls with a single punch each. While she's distracted, Ridner sneaks up and readies his hammer. Beu takes a direct hit to the side and soars across the room. A stone wall hits her from behind, pushing her towards Ridner again. She changes her stance and thrusts her fist forward. Ridner recoils after taking the force punch to the face.

The walls stop moving, but Beu knows better, she runs after Ridner, not giving him even a second to recover. When she slams both her fists into his chest a loud cracking sound echoes around the room.

"Again!" She slams both her fists into him, pushing him back. "Again!" She hits him again, pushing him against a wall, before shattering that wall.

Beu stances and it seems almost as if Skull is beside her as she mimics his double punch.

"A good soldier follows every order, son." A teen with short brown hair kneels, bruised and tired, in front of a man. "No matter the cost."

The boy stares at his reflection in a puddle.

"Watch over the place and protect it. got that?" The man stands beside a cart full of soldiers.

"Yes." The boy stands besides his mother and sister.

"A cart!? Is father back?" The young boy looks out a window. He runs out of the house only to see a few injured soldiers and a man in front of him holding a letter. "Wait, where's father?" The joy fades from his face as dread sets in.

"Sorry kid." The man begins to tear up as he hands the boy the letter and leaves alongside the other soldiers.

His confusion turns to fear as he rips open the letter. The letter reads : son, if you're reading this I won't be coming back home, I'd have followed my orders to the end and cannot be more proud, do not fret, thrive in knowing I have given myself so you can live, just make sure to protect all the citizens of this great country, that's an order.

He drops to his knees, as if his tears are dragging him into the mud, as he cries out. "Father!"

"I like how well you follow orders, Ridner." Leon sits upon a throne as Ridner kneels before him. "It definitely made my take over much easier, fighting the both of you could have given the other riled up, a good choice, you saved them.

Ridner sits in thought as Leon's words echo in his head. He looks up convinced he protected everyone.

As Beu's fists impact Ridner, he recoils into a wall made of force.

"This isn't enough!" She punches him again this time using her power to propel her fist faster, and the initial force of impact keeps shape, leaving Ridner with what appears to be holes in his body.

Beu unleashes a barrage of punches. Ridner coughs up blood as he is unable to move.

"You're blinded by duty, you don't even see how many you hurt!" She winds back. "Why don't you just go die!" She propels her fists into him. "And that's-" she uses a force burst to push even further, cracking the wall of force.

Ridner's eyes go white as one last push from Beu makes a bursting sound and the wall shatters sending him flying towards the battlefield.

"-An order." Beu collapses from exhaustion.

Ridner's body soars through numerous trees before finally stopping in the center of one, a long trail of blood follows the fallen trees all the way to him. A curious soldier makes his way towards the commotion and finds Ridner's corpse.

"I-is that sir Ridner!? Everyone, Ridner is dead, we stand no chance, surrender!" The soldier throws down his weapon and runs for the battlefield.

"Beu? Beu are you alright!?" Chance's voice calls from behind the tower door.

"Am now." She smiles softly.

"Ridner stop, you're outnumbered!" Chase breaks into the room, the spectral snake ahead of him.

The snake fades as Chase realizes the room is quiet.

"He's already dealt with, dummy." Beu raises her hand up, showing she's alive.

Both Chase and Hazel run over to her.

"What happened to him?" Chase helps Beu to sit up.

"Are you alright?" Hazel examines all of Beu's injuries.

"I feel a lot better now since that ass hole is dead, though I could be better." Beu winces as she feels a few broken ribs.

"It will take a moment, but I can play a healing melody to heal us all." Hazel takes out her instrument.

"We'll be no good against Leon if we can barely fight, we'd only get in Skull's way." Chase seems to be deep in thought.

"Well I hope it doesn't take too long, I'd still like a chance to fight Leon." Beu relaxes as she leans against Chase.

"We just need our energy back, then we can join the fight again. We'll be there in no time." Chase places a hand on Beu's head.
