After coming home, Gary felt utterly distressed. However, he didn't show that on his face.
" I am really sorry, Gary." Susane sighed as she sat on the couch. " I tried to stop them. But the crowd was huge and someone already called the ambulance."
" It's alright, Mom. At least you are ok now." Gary replied with a smile. " From now on, Be careful on the road, ok?"
" But what was the bill?" Susane asked suddenly. " It must be huge, right?"
" Ah, About the bill, you don't need to worry." Gary thought for a moment as he hurriedly replied. " I mean, you know I study in Elysian High, right? So, using my student card, I managed to cover quite a lot. It cost two thousand dollars."
" Is that so?" Susane seemed to sigh in relief.
' Haah, I can't let Mom know I spent so much on the medical bills. She will ask where I got so much money.'
