Chapter 1: The system is finally here

In a small yard within the Uchiha Clan, a figure wearing a Konoha forehead protector and a shinobi vest could be seen. He was Uchiha Kisaragi, donning a battle uniform with the Uchiha emblem on his back.

"Kisaragi, good morning."

"Captain Kisaragi, good morning."

Seeing Uchiha Kisaragi, the members of the Uchiha clan greeted him respectfully. Despite being only nineteen years old, Kisaragi had earned respect in this world, where strength commanded recognition.

The Uchiha clan, though proud, held deep respect for those who proved themselves strong, especially their own.

After transmigrating into this world nineteen years ago, Kisaragi relied on his superior talent to become the top genius of the Uchiha clan.

"Is being a transmigrator really not considered cheating?"

Lost in thought, Kisaragi headed toward the training grounds. With his quasi-Kage-level strength, he was widely recognized as the number one genius not only in the Uchiha clan but also in Konoha, ranking among the top in combat ability. Only a handful of shinobi in Konoha could match his strength.

However, in this Naruto world, Kisaragi knew that without a Cheat, he could only hope to reach the Kage-level at best. While most people would view Kage-level as the pinnacle of power, Kisaragi, who knew the future, was acutely aware that Kage-level was insufficient. It might suffice for now, before the Third Shinobi War, but by the time of the Fourth Shinobi War, a Kage-level shinobi would barely be a footnote.

"Kisaragi-san, half of the Uchiha clan supports you. It seems you're destined to be the next patriarch."

On the training grounds, as soon as Kisaragi arrived, Uchiha Shin approached him, speaking in a low voice. Uchiha Shin was one of Kisaragi's loyal followers, an elite Jonin and one of the Uchiha clan's higher-ranking fighters.

The current Uchiha patriarch was preparing to step down, intending to pass the title to Uchiha Fugaku. However, many in the clan believed Kisaragi was more suitable, particularly because he was stronger than Fugaku. Strength was the most respected trait among the Uchiha.

"When did I ever say I wanted to be the patriarch?"

As a transmigrator, Kisaragi was well aware of the doomed fate awaiting the Uchiha clan. They were already a thorn in the side of Sarutobi Hiruzen and Danzo. Not only that, the Uchiha had poor relationships with the other clans in Konoha, making them isolated with no allies. To Kisaragi, the position of patriarch was more of a burden than a blessing, and he had little interest in it.

"Kisaragi-san, only by becoming the patriarch can you lead our Uchiha clan to the top," Uchiha Shin said, his tone filled with enthusiasm.

Kisaragi glanced at him. "You're overestimating me," he thought to himself. "To the top? I can't even prevent the future massacre of the Uchiha clan."

At that moment, a mechanical voice sounded in Kisaragi's mind, changing his expression.

"[Ding, charging complete, villain system loading. 10%... 30%... 100%. System load complete.]"

"That wasn't an illusion. Not even a Kage-level shinobi could use genjutsu on me without me noticing."

"Could it be? The Cheat I've been waiting for day and night has finally arrived?"

Without another word to Uchiha Shin, Kisaragi immediately used the Body Flicker Technique to return home.

"System," Kisaragi said silently in his mind.

"[Host, I am here.]"

"Hahaha, it's really a system!"

Kisaragi couldn't hide his excitement. Without a Cheat, even if he survived until the Fourth Shinobi War, he would just be a bystander. Could a transmigrator like him be content merely watching from the sidelines?

"System, explain your functions to me."

"[Host, this is the Villain System. As long as the host commits evil deeds, you will receive rewards.]"

The system explained that depending on the severity of the evil acts committed, Kisaragi would receive either a certain amount of 'Evil Value' or tangible rewards. The Evil Value could then be used to purchase items from the Evil Value Mall.

"So, doing bad things makes me stronger?"

Kisaragi reviewed the items in the system shop, feeling no moral dilemma. He was never much of a 'good guy' to begin with.

"System, is there a novice gift package?"

"[There is no novice gift package, but there is a compensation package. Would you like to see it?]"

Since the system took nineteen years to activate after he transmigrated, Kisaragi was entitled to a compensation package.

"Open it right now!"

"[Compensation package opened successfully. Congratulations, Host, you have received: Zanpakutō · Ryūjin Jakka, and 100,000 Evil Value!]"

A simple, long sword appeared in Kisaragi's hand. The scabbard and blade looked ordinary, but Kisaragi knew the power within it. This was Ryūjin Jakka, the strongest Zanpakutō from the world of *Bleach*.

"System, are you sure I can use this?"

Zanpakutō were typically wielded by Shinigami, spiritual beings, and required Reiatsu to use—completely different from the power system in Naruto.

"[The system has modified the item. The Host can use it perfectly, but its consumption has changed from Reiatsu to Chakra.]"

Although Kisaragi could wield Ryūjin Jakka, he still couldn't use its Shikai (initial release). The minimum requirement for that was Kage-level strength.

"I guess I'll have to start learning swordsmanship."

Kisaragi had never practiced proper swordsmanship, only using a ninja sword for basic slashing. Now, with Ryūjin Jakka in hand, he knew it would be a waste not to study swordsmanship seriously.

Strapping the sword to his back, Kisaragi made his way to the Konoha Police Force headquarters. Besides being an Elite Jonin, he also held the position of deputy captain of the Konoha Police Force.

Despite having 100,000 Evil Value in the system, Kisaragi decided not to spend it just yet. He didn't need new ninjutsu at the moment; it made more sense to save up for the Mangekyō Sharingan.

Though Kisaragi was hailed as the genius of the Uchiha clan, he had only unlocked the Three Tomoe Sharingan so far. The Mangekyō Sharingan had remained out of reach.

Unlocking the Mangekyō required strong emotions, typically tied to great personal loss or crisis. Kisaragi had experienced neither. His life had been relatively smooth, and without any major emotional triggers, it was unlikely he would naturally awaken the Mangekyō.

Upon arriving at the Konoha Police headquarters, Kisaragi was greeted by the sight of Uchiha Fugaku's stern expression.

"You're late again, Uchiha Kisaragi."

Fugaku's voice was cold as he addressed Kisaragi. "This is the seventeenth time you've been late this month."

Both men held prominent positions within the Konoha Police Force—Fugaku as the captain, and Kisaragi as the deputy captain. By all rights, Kisaragi should have been the captain, but Fugaku, as the future Uchiha patriarch, was given the title instead.

Though their relationship wasn't openly hostile, tension between them was palpable, primarily due to the looming competition over the Uchiha clan's leadership. Even if Kisaragi had never truly wanted to be the patriarch, Fugaku had long since considered him a rival.
