Iris fell to one knee, clutching her side where blood still trickled from a deep wound, her breath ragged. She had paid a heavy price, but she had done it. She had faced Eclipse, the embodiment of her deepest fears, and emerged victorious. Still, the aftermath weighed heavily on her.
