"Constance, wake up " Snow opened her eyes hearing someone call her name.
She groaned in pain trying to focus through all the pain in her body.
"We need to get her to the hospital now " she heard a male voice yell, it sounded familiar.
Snow breathed trying to make out the face of the man shouting next to her.
Warm strong arms moved under her cold body picking her up.
"Divean, what are you doing " she weakly muttered.
"what do I look like am doing, helping you " he frowned as he gently carried her into his car.
Divean Alexander, her biggest nemesis. He was the last person she wanted to see but in her state now, all she wanted was someone to help her.
But too weak to fight back, Snow laid back in his warm arms and closed her eyes.
When she opened them again voices and something warm was moving over her body. She gulped breathing weakly as her eyes scanned the room she was in now.
"Are you her husband?" she heard some ask.
"No, am a friend " Snow could see Divean answer the doctor.
He turned and their eyes met, he blinked and then looked away.
"We need her family to sign the consent form so we can perform the surgery," said the doctor.
Snow could feel it, her baby was in danger and the father of her child had just betrayed her with her friend.
Divean was the one here now and although she hated him so much. He had brought her to the hospital.
Pushing all her hate for him aside Snow turned to them.
She held back her tears and let out.
"Do it, please. Save my child " she cried.
Divaen moved to where she was. His deep blue eyes stared down at her.
"Your....".
"Please...." she cried.
He sighed nodded and moved back.
Snow laid back as the doctor and Divean left the room. The nurse wiped her body and got her ready for surgery.
...
"What are you doing here, and is that blood?" Diaven's mom walked to where he was.
"Yes mother it's blood but not mine" he answered.
"What happened son, you suddenly called in the middle of the night and you're in the hospital ". She frowned.
He sighed.
"It's her mother....she was bleeding so much, cold and alone in that cell. How could they do that to her " he looked away.
His mother took his hand squeezing it a little.
"Is she okay?
"No, she lost a lot of blood. I could not tell her but the doctor said the baby might not survive " he said.
"That would be sad, how did she get there?" she gently asked.
"Am not sure but I will find out " he gritted his teeth.
"Son, stay here first and be with her. Then we can know what happened to her when she wakes up".
He listened to his mother and after she left, Divean patiently waited outside the operation room until she was brought out.
"Am sorry, we did all we could but could not save the baby " said the doctor after walking out of the operating room.
He sighed.
