"And you think you can ride better than me?" Nickolas asked, stepping forward, almost towering over Katherine.
To his surprise, rather than stepping back this time, Katherine looked him straight in the eye before smiling.
She didn't say anything, just smiled before she stepped back and turned around, ready to leave.
She didn't feel the need to say anything, nor did she want to indulge in any useless commotion. She wanted to do her work without creating much noise.
"I will go to my building. I have my Professional English next," Katherine said to Tianna, who hummed, her gaze shifting to the guy, who looked too shocked.
"Mr. Nickolas, please don't mind my sister's -" Tianna started to curry favor and gain some good points in front of the man, but he didn't give her any chance.
