Scarlet sat on the chair, now sober as she sniffled on the tissue Elora handed to her. She pushed her hairs back and raised her eyes to look at her.
"I'm sorry for wetting your cloth," she apologized to her.
"It's alright," Elora said as she stared at her. "Scarlet," she called, "I understand the pain you are going through and I am not going to force you to do this. You can take all the time you want and come back only when you are ready."
Scarlet brows were slightly pulled together and she said, "Can you not tell my mom or Mrs. Wells about this?"
Elora nodded and said with an assuring smile, "You can trust me with anything."
