7/ Band

It didn't take long for them to set up their equipment.

Equipment I literally had no idea they brought with them. 20 minutes tops and they were more than ready to rock.

Just like Louis, I avoided Cole like one of the seven plagues.

Why didn't he admit he wanted to get back together? Why is he leading me on only to make me feel like crap in front of his friends? And why was he so close damn to Rosà?

I asked myself, watching her from when she came with a bottle in her han to now that he was physically teaching her simple guitar tricks.

'Don't worry valley, they're just cousins' I said to myself, aiming at feeling better but failing badly.

Cousins play the guitar together. Cousins pour water into each other's mouths right?

Right?

I stayed like that on my sit agitated until Louis bumped into me with the guitar in his hands. If not for this, I wouldn't have noticed the red marks I dug into on my palms.

Calm down valley, you don't need your pills to calm yourself down. You can do it all by your self. My inner mind assured me as I began to count numbers in my mind, just like how my therapist thought me.

Taking a deep breath lastly, I was already feeling better when someone tapped me.

"Are you okay?" Adjusting his guitar, Darwin asked with a concerned look.

"Yeah, just a bit dizzy," I say dipping my hands into my back pockets, away from his view.

He sighs. "You know what Cole did was mean and uncalled for right?"

I snort surprised at his kindness. "Preach to the choir,"

"Well I believe since your now officially single, that should be a reason to have fun. You might not believe it, but Cole was kinda holding you down. But now that you are aware of the truth, I believe you should try living a little," He says placing a hand on my shoulder, with a smile as bright as the moon.

"You know, your right. Who needs boys anyways,"

5, 4, 3, 2 Fuck!

That was Cole yelling as they began to play like crazy.

Although they insist that they will and only play for fun, they turn out to be really good at playing for fun. They almost sound like a real band.

Almost.

Cole was with the microphone, chase with the drums while Louis and Darwin crashed with the guitars.

It was a nice and soothing heavy metal song. I and kiko began to throw our heads up and down to the beat. I had to admit, Darwin was right.

Being single can be fun, you just got to forget your fears and live in the moment.

Very soon the song was over and I ended up with a raging head ache, but I didn't care. And so did kiko.

Panting from all the energy I had let out, I didn't realize that everyone was staring at me.

"Wow! I didn't know you could dance that much," Cole said astonished with his mouth hanging.

"I didn't know you could dance," Liza says placing a hand on her hips.

"Well people, there's a lot you don't know about me," I say confidently, my eyes directly at Cole.

Nobody seemed to move, until this.

"Three cheers for the dance queen!" Darwin says clapping and not a while later, the others chirped in. Well everyone except Louis who glared at me with somewhat amusement on his face.

As they began to pack up, I felt someone come to my side.

"Dam valley! You aren't that bad after all," Kiko says rubbing my back before leaving.

Guess I'll be transforming peoples views on me from now on.

Finding out that an actually band played in my house got Raven enthusiastic as ever.

Although I tries many time to explain that it was just Cole and some others messing around, she still pressured me into taking a pic. Good thing I finally got the replacement phone, although the spa woman didn't really contribute much.

As I took it, Louis somehow managed to be in the picture.

I thought of cropping him out but needed to satisfy her hormones real quick.

Finally sending it, not long after she replied.

Who's the hottie in the pic?

Knew I should have cropped him.

It didn't end there, as she continuously dropped messages.

Is he in the band? Do you know him? Is he one of your roommates?

ANSWER ME!

Shutting off my phone to avoid further annoying messages, I stood up ready to go when something seemed to fall from under my skirt to the floor.

Picking it up, I wondered what a phone was doing there.

"You should probably give it back to her," I get a non required suggestion from from yes you named it correct, Louis.

"You know, that's one of the few sensible things you've sent to me. But who is she exactly?"

"Who else? Kiko of course. She's the only with the ability to stand you," He says towering me for a while before walking away.

Guess I'm going to Kiko.

Phone in my hand, I was poking my head into every open door.

"Not here,"

"Certainly not here,"

"There it is,"

I was finally found kiko and Liza's room and was about to go in, when I began to hear excited voices coming from Cole's room.

I was meant to hand kiko her phone, but my curiosity seems to beat me to it as I found myself approaching the door.

Making sure my footsteps didn't startle her and who ever was in there from pausing their laughter, I wondered hat was going on in there.

Quietly, I opened it a crack and I immediately noticed a hand on Rosa's face as she gave it a peck.

I could feel my fingers dig again as my worst fears were becoming a reality.

Believing I would be able to see the owner of the hand, I pressed my head deeper when suddenly I hear a voice clear their throat behind me.

"You know it's rude to eavesdrop on someone else's private conversation right?"

"Oh kiko! Just the one I was looking for," I say hoping my red face didn't give me away.

"Well if I'm the one, then why are you there?"

Checking to see if anyone was listening, I turned to her.

"Can we take this to your room?"
