Volume 1 Chapter 8

One day after Naruko left for the land of waves.

"So you think they are ready for a c rank Kakashi ?"

"Yes, Hokage sama."

"And Asuma, you wanted a c-rank mission right ?"

"Hai , Hokage sama ."

"Alright. Here is the mission I think. Hmmm... This is a mission in the land of hot water. There is a town, named Kuroshaki town. Their leader has requested for bandit eradication. But they suspect that multiple bandit groups are working together. So they have payed equivalent for two c-rank missions. I think this should be a joint mission with team 7 and team ten in it. "

"I accept the mission hokage sama. " Asuma accepted immediately

Kakashi shook his head tierdly. "*Sigh* I accept too."

"We should discuss about the mission before hand."

"Yes. So to training ground ten ?"

"Lead the way."

"So what's your team's speciality Sasuke kun ?" Ino Yamanaka asked.

"Frontal assault." Sakura answered instead of Sasuke.

"Who asked you forehead ?" Ino rebuked Sakura and continued.

"Our's capture and interrogation Sasuke kun."

"He didn't even asked you Ino pig !"

"Alright kids listen up ! As the first c-rank mission, here's what you are going to pack with you."

Asuma started explaining in detailed to both of the team.

"We will leave today noon. So go back to your home and pack necessary items. Meet us at gate on 12 straight."

"Why aren't we going through the river ?" Naruko's clone asked no one in perticular.

All the genins looked at her in a flat look. But only Sasuke answered back.

"Because there is no boat here."

"I am talking about water walking." Clone Naruko gave him a flat look and then turned to Kakashi and Asuma and gave them a questioning look.

"Uzumaki, how did you learn water walking ?" Kakashi asked her softly. Ever since day one, every time Kakashi called Naruko with familiarity, Naruko stopped him. So he finally bowed down and called her Uzumaki.

"Instincts and practical learning." Was the curt answer from Naruko.

Kakashi sighed. No matter how he tried, Naruko didn't budge.

From the day one, after Naruko freed her from the ropes using her claws, Sakura acted cautiously around Naruko. She didn't hate her. But she was afraid of her. She was extremely anti-social. On top of it she barely ever spoke. And not to mention whenever she spoke, she says it in a very straight forward manner.

As per Sasuke, he tried to challenge Naruko for spars or fight. But Naruko just ignored him. So the relationship between them wasn't that good.

And now the said boy was glaring at him probably due to not teaching him water walking.

All this led to disastrous team work.

"Alright, for the shake of training, both the teams will make a raft to cross the river." Asuma came to his rescue.

It wasn't the best option. But, sure it would be faster than going around the way to cross it where the water is swallow.

After Asuma told them to make a raft , team 10 stuck together. Or atleast Chozi and Shikamaru did. Ino and Sakura were fawning over Sasuke. But atleast those five were trying to talk out a plan.

"How should we cut trees ? I mean, we don't have any shaw ." Chozi asked.

"Kunai !" Sasuke grunted.

"I say why not use paperbombs. It will be faster. And Naruko have plenty of those." Sakura suggested.

"Where is Naruko ?" Ino asked.

*Crash*

And there we go ! After inspecting some trees, she cut down a long one with a swipe of her hands. Kakashi could see the claws on them. Sandaime belived that the physical changes are due to regular leakage of kyuubi chakra into her system. That was the main purpose of eight trigram sealings. Then that will explain her inhuman raw strength that could easily match lady Tsunade in the future.

Hearing the crashing sound, all the genins looked towards the direction of the sound. But Naruko didn't care. She simply proceeded to cut two more trees. Kakashi heard Ino and Sakura talking in a hushed tone.

"Hey Forehead ! Why is big tits so strong ?" Ino asked in a hushed voice.

"I don't know ! Just shut up pig. She's this strong since the first day. She's just too anti-social to care about academy,.... I think."

"Fine ! Atleast she is not going after Sasuke kun !" Ino said.

But Sakura grimaced.

Sasuke has given much more attention to Naruko than Sakura since the formation of the team. Sakura sometimes felt jealous of her strength and body. But the way she ignores Sasuke reminded her of how Sasuke used to reject or ignore all the fangirls including herself.

Naruko is very anti-social. Even more than Sasuke. And Sakura couldn't understand how in the world someone could be like this.

Her musing cut short as the trunks were cut into pieces of equal length.

Shikamaru,Chozi and Sasuke went towards the trees. Soon a makeshift raft was ready. And the team crossed the river.

It took them another day to reach the designated town. It was almost evening. So they decided to start the mission next morning. But first they should report their client of their arrival.

"Welcome, guests. Thank you for coming in this short notice I just issued the mission five days ago."

"It's nothing. We can travel faster so it's natural." Asuma thanked the town's mayor.

"Can you tell us anything you know about the bandits or their hideouts ?"

"Sorry but I don't know. But most of them came from the mountain of the north-east side." The mayor replied.

"It will take some times to track them down." Asuma commented.

"I am sorry that I can't help you anymore in this matter."

"No it's nothing."

"You must be tierd. I have arranged your lodges and foods. Why not rest a little ?"

"Sure , thank you for your kindness." Asuma was quick to accept. But clone Naruko could smell trouble.

'Should I call boss ?'
