As Alex was finally about to lie in the game capsule

"The game is loading..."

Hearing the prompts, his vision went dark, and he suddenly appeared between six different statues.

"Please choose your career!"

These statues symbolize the six different professions, which the players can choose from.

Alex looked through the classes and reaffirming his thoughts. He chose the one he thinks the most suitable for him, the assassin. After deciding on his profession. 

"Customize your character as you like."

Hearing the sound, he customized his character. Different from his real life appearance, his hair become silver, his hairstyle changed into a lone ponytail hanging all the way down to the middle of his back. His eyes become eye-catching emerald and his face being a little more handsome. The only thing that didn't change was his body structure. Which was important in order to adapt faster to your movements in combat.

After checking himself out in the mirror and confirming his customization,

"Please enter your character name!" 

He already thought about a good name as he typed "Deathwhisper" finalizing his appearance and checking his body out one more time. The prompt sounded again.

"Do you wish to enter the game?"

"Enter."

Alex said, with excitement and anticipation.

Green Stone village,

"Congratulations on creating your avatar and welcome to the world of Utopia Online your starting village is called Green Stone village. Enjoy the second world and try to reach higher!"

Alex's sudden appearance didn't surprise anyone and he kept observing and looking around, while listening to the speech of the system. After the beep ended, and confirming where he teleported to, he was pleasantly surprised to find out the name of the village. This beginner's place information was basic knowledge to him during education. He knows very well where to go and which quests to take in order to progress smoothly. 

Just like mentioned, you can see a human with bird like features who has a huge exclamation mark above his head. It means that if you talk to the mentioned NPC, he will give you a quest to complete. Alex knew that time was essential. He didn't think about anything and started running toward the marked birdman.

Alex said to the man, "Hello I am a newcomer adventurer who just recently arrived. Is there any assignment where I can help you?"

Birdman, "Hello adventurer, I am Snow Feather the beginner's guide. Good thing you asked. There are some wild boars to the north of the village who had recently kept appearing around the village, hunt down and collect their meet for me. After you bring them to me, I will reward you well."

"Quest Detected!"

Alex said yes and begin his way to the north side of the village. While he was walking to his destination, he decided to check out his properties panel.

"Status" as he thought a window appeared in front of him.

Alex's attributes and skills were ordinary. Each profession has different main attributes. For example, Wizard heavily focus on intelligence and warrior on strength to deal more damage. Assassin's main attribute has always been the dexterity. It increases the attack damage, speed and movement speed for the Assassin class.

He was about to arrive at the quest location, but he noticed the last row of his status window and he slowed down. The more he looked at it, the more confused he felt. 

Ever since the game appeared, no one ever mentioned anything about unique skills. For a moment, he even felt that he was the chosen one. But as he thought about it, he felt cringe and deleted those thoughts. Maybe there are others with special skill who never mentioned.

After calming down his excitement and making a logical conclusion, he choose to check out his skills.

Sting: dagger attack move deals 110% normal damage twice by attacking at a faster rate. Cooldown: 5 second.

MP cost: 5

Rush faint: sprint to the target really fast and stun them for 2 sec deals 50% damage.

Cooldown: 20 second.

MP cost: 15

Ambush: Attack the enemy with a heavy cut dealing 150% damage, if the attacked target is unaware of you, or is being smited from behind the enemy takes 200% damage.

Cooldown: 10 second. 

MP cost: 20

Stealth: (Active skill) Become invisible and your next attack has 20% chance to be deal critical damage. (critical damage deals 200% of the normal attack)

Cooldown: 60 second

MP cost: 0

Devour (unique): If a creature hp is below 10% you can use devour to execute the creature and by executing part of the creature's attributes will get absorbed. Execute ignores the enemy shield, resistance, and level difference.

 option 2: unlocked when you reach level 20.

cooldown: 30 second (based on level)

Mp cost: 0

As he read the last lines, his breathing become unsteady. He knows very well that if a player reaches level 20 in Utopia Online, then their status will manifest in reality. There were only a few hidden quests that had given a reward for increasing attributes and normally you can only gain status points by leveling up. Each level up gives 5 status point.

If there is really a way to make his attributes increase just by using this skill, then he will definitely be stronger than others.

Maybe he will even have a chance to become a giant in the new era. But at first, he has to hide well and don't let others find about his special ability.

He just started playing, and he cannot defend himself in reality. His relatives died when he was 8 years old and after growing up, he was invited to join the academy.

"It looks like I will have to try playing the game alone. At worst, the school might think that I am one of those hot-blooded boys." *chuckle.

As he kept thinking about it he remembered what has Emma said.

"Forget it. Let's try out how this game works," Alex said, as he licked his lips while looking at the boars.

Some people who were about to approach him to team up decided to keep the distance as they saw him looking at the boars and licking his lips. Alex also noticed his gaffe and hurriedly left in shame. After leaving that area and arriving at another one, it was finally time to kill the boars and complete the quest.
