A man: It's a rare condition

(Harriet is in the kitchen)

A man: This day and age

(Mother Winslow is reading a newspaper and sitting on the porch)

A man: To read any good news on the newspaper page.

(Laura is in her room putting money in a line)

Love and tradition of the grand design,

(Eddie is playing basketball with Carl)

Some people say it's even harder to find.

(Steve is shown holding a bunch of papers, then fell)

(Kanisha catches the paper and looks at Steve)

Well then there must be some magic clue inside these gentle walls

(Rachel is shown talking with a bunch of kids)

(Joyan: a woman who has short black hair, brown skin, wearing square glasses, a pink shirt, black skirt, leggings, and white heels is in the library)

(Maxine is reading a magazine)

As days go by

(Steve and Joyan are reading)

we're gonna fill our house with happiness.

(Laura is talking with Harriet)

(The Winslow is shown riding bikes)

(Rachel is rocking her baby)

(Maxine and Laura are jumping in the bedroom)

(Harriet and Carl are at a restaurant)

(Mother Winslow comes through the door, while holding a tennis racket)

(Joyan is holding a balloon)

(The opening ends with Winslow family with Steve, Joyan, and Kanisha in the living room, while Rachel is playing a piano)

(The episode opens in the orphanage, where Rachel is checking on the kids)

Rachel: Well, it seems everything great

Ms. Renna: Including Steve

(Rachel looks up to see Steve and Kanisha flying, while Steve is playing polka and Kanisha is dancing)

Ms. Renna: Out of everybody he could've met, he met Kanisha

Rachel: It's not that big of surprise, I know Kanisha

A voice: Excuse me, could I borrow Ms. Renna?

Ms. Renna: Of course

(The voice is revealed to be Joyan: a woman who has short black hair, brown skin, wearing square glasses, a pink shirt, black skirt, leggings, and white heels)

Ms. Renna (walks into the orphanage): Yes

Joyan: I want to adopt Steve Urkel

Ms. Renna: (looking shocked) You do? (Smiles) that's great

Joyan: Where is he?

(Kanisha and Steve appear)

Kanisha: Sorry, I overheard

Joyan: Hello, Steve.

Steve: Hi

Joyan: I am here to adopt you

Steve (looked surprised): You are?

Joyan: I am (looks at Kanisha) you can come too

Kanisha: Me?

Steve: Why do you want to adopt me?

Joyan: I appreciate smart kids, and read your folder. So, what do you (hold out her hand) say?

Steve: I would love to go with you, but what about my lab?

Joyan: I have a lovely basement that screaming to be remodeled and has plenty of room for your stuff

Steve (smiles): I'll pack right away, come on Kanisha

Kanisha: Coming (runs after Steve)

Ms. Renna: I never seen him so excited except when he invented something that will change the world

Joyan: I just hope we will get along, this is my first taking care of a teenager

Ms. Renna: Some advice, Steve is nice, particularly a saint, he loves polka, science and is a bit introverted. So, I think you and him get along just fine.

Joyan: That's great, tell me what school is Steve in

(A portal opens with a paper falling out)

Joyan (looks at the paper): Oh, thanks Kanisha

Kanisha: You are very welcome

(The screen switches to Kanisha levitating with all of Steve's stuff in the basement)

(A suitcase opens)

(Steve's inventions enters the suitcase)

Steve (holding a suitcase): Thank you, Kanisha for your help

Kanisha: No problem, I have super unique powers to make lots of stuff fit in one suitcase.

Steve: I'm surprised that I got adopted

Kanisha: You shouldn't be after all you deserve a home.

Steve: You'll come around?

Kanisha: Every day

Steve (looks curious): You can see the house?

Kanisha: I can, and it's wonderful

Steve: Great

(The screen switches to Steve and Kanisha inside the house)

(Joyan walks inside the house)

Joyan: So, what do you think, Steve?

(Kanisha disappears)

Steve: It's beautiful

Joyan: That's great, where's Kanisha?

Kanisha: I'm upstairs.

Steve: What are you doing up there?

Kanisha: Well, I had to go

(Steve and Joyan looked at each other for a moment)

Joyan: So, Steve, have you made many friends at your new school?

Steve: Oh, I wish, but so far, only and best friend I made is Kanisha

Kanisha: I appreciate the compliment

Joyan: Are there no other kids that want to be your friend?

Steve: I got off a rough start with my classmates, none of them seems interested.

Joyan: Well, did you try to at least talk to them, once they get to know you

Steve: I guess you're right

Kanisha; Of course, and this hallway is beautiful

Joyan: Thank you, tell me which one room would be the best for visitors

Kanisha: Room 5 and Room 7 is this for Steve because this room screams him

Steve: oh, let me see (runs upstairs)

Joyan: (giggles) he sure is something

(The screen switches to Steve looking at his room in awe)

(The room has a display of cheese, polka on the shelf, a closet, and a bookshelf)

Kanisha: Do you

Joyan: Love it

Steve (smiles): Absolutely

Joyan: I'm glad.

Steve: I can't believe, I'll be living here.

Joyan: Believe it

Kanisha: Well, I'm happy for you, Steve

Joyan: Are you about to leave?

Kanisha: Not yet

Steve: Then, could you stay for the night, since you can just teleport.

(Kanisha blushes, then stops)

Kanisha: Joyan, is it okay?

Joyan: Of course

Kanisha: Great, sleepover

Steve: Yeah!

(Steve hugs Kanisha)

(Joyan smiles)
