After three years of marriage, Wendy Stewart was used to Michael Lucas's sarcastic remarks, his frequent threats about getting divorced, and even his indulgence of a mistress. She thought that she could bear with this her entire life, until she accidentally got pregnant with a child that Michael did not want. Finally despondent, Wendy signed the divorce agreement and left. She thought they could have parted ways forever, but Michael refused to stop looking for her after the divorce. When they met again, she was the world's top designer. Smiling sweetly at her ex-husband, she said, "My dear, we're already divorced." Michael simply stared at her coldly, "Tell me, what will it take for us to reconcile?"
Michael was still a little uncomfortable in the end. But Wendy personally came to the company and brought him food.
Michael's heart was softened somewhat.
Wendy was leaving tomorrow, and they both knew that no one could convince anyone.
The next day, when Wendy woke up, Michael was no longer at home.
On the bedside, there was a sticky note.
Wendy looked at the beautiful handwriting on it, which said, "I'm not going to see you off because of some business, have a good trip."
Wendy had mixed feelings when she read the simple line.
It seemed that there was no way to ease the relationship between her and Michael before she left.
Leah and Jake would definitely like to see Wendy off today. Last night, they requested leave and did not go to class in the morning.
Zess arrived at the airport with the two kids.
Wendy stood at the ticket gate and hugged Leah and Jake with some reluctance.
