After three years of marriage, Wendy Stewart was used to Michael Lucas's sarcastic remarks, his frequent threats about getting divorced, and even his indulgence of a mistress. She thought that she could bear with this her entire life, until she accidentally got pregnant with a child that Michael did not want. Finally despondent, Wendy signed the divorce agreement and left. Wendy looked into Todd's eyes and asked, "Do you know Christian before this? I mean, have you known Christian in other channels besides his identity as Michael's younger brother from another mother?"
Wendy needed to clarify the relationship between Todd and Christian first.
Todd hesitated. He didn't shake his head nor did he nod.
Judging from his response, Wendy understood.
"So you knew Christian long ago, did you?"
Looking at Todd slowly nodding his head, Wendy wasn't surprised.

She asked further, "Are you on Christian's side?"
