Unwanted feeling

Growing up as a teen has never been easy. We undergo so many hormonal, physical, mental and emotional changes and still try to cope with peer pressure and societal influence. Not to forget the academic fight we go through just to succeed in life. It becomes even harder when love comes in. It actually becomes a struggle for most of us, trying not to get hurt and still trying to hold on to family's standard and parents happiness. What happens when our brilliant, outstanding lily falls into such dilemma. Would she scale through or would it become a nightmare for her.

Class captain

The class was noisy and unorganized as usual with students divided into groups, chatting and laughing incessantly. It was no surprise the students didn't notice when their form teacher walked in. The poised elegant miss suzzy stood by the side and watched her students with a look of astonishment in her eyes, but few minutes later ,she lost all her composure and patience as she yelled her lungs out to get their attention. With a look of horror and fear, the students rushed back to their seats without wasting even seconds cause they all knew what would befall them if they thought of delaying.

Miss Suzzy glanced at the students for a few seconds and finally stopped while pointing at a student to stand. Lily stood up with all confidence as expected. Miss Suzzy glanced at her again and said " Lilian Daniels , You are officially the class captain of SS2D, so it's now in ur hands to ensure the class is always in order. Come with me to my office , I need you to do something for me". With that she walked out with lily tailing behind her.

No one in the class was shocked at the appointment because they already knew it would happen after all, lily had been the class prefect right from Jss1. It was now like she was born for it and no one contends it with her anymore.

Lily has always been the most brilliant student of Brilliance High School (BHS), she is well known for her outstanding performance and good manners. She has won many competitions for the school and herself, making the school proud. When it comes to physical features it wouldn't be much of an exaggeration if it's said that she looks like a goddess, she is a slim, tall, fair skinned beauty with long legs and beautiful facial features. She is a confident person that won't let others trample on her rights.

This is the fifth time in a roll that she has once again gained the position of a class captain. Her heart was filled with joy and eagerness to go home and give the good news to her mum. Though she was happy but she would never let it get into her head since she was smart enough to know that pride comes before the downfall of a man.
