Argument Between The Heart And The Brain
Liyana was informed that Lara would not come for the meeting by Sylvia but would make the call. So Liyana kept waiting for Lara's call but it did not come. She dialled her, but Lara did not answer too. Since it was work-related Liyana was desperate to complete her work.
Lara on the other hand was having a little fun. "This is good," Lara enjoyed her steak. It was a little bland but she did not mind it since Sam had put a lot of effort. She could not remember the last time she felt alive like this.
"How is this?" Sam asked about the mashed potato.
"There are lumps but you are good for doing this the first time," Lara said frankly this time.
"John comes and cooks usually, I never cared about anything," Sam shrugged.
"David loves you a lot I can tell that from the way he treats you," Lara said.
"True true, sometimes I ask him to not act like me dad," Sam laughed and took a bite of his steak.
