Harry. The Weapons Master

"Master, your sword feels powerful. Is it crafted by Master Steve?" Alan asked curiously.

"Can you sense the mana in the sword?" Stan asked, raising his eyebrow.

"Yes, Headmaster. I can sense mana from weapons also. If you don't mind, can I see your sword, please?"

Stan felt curious to know what Alan would deduce from looking at hid weapon, so he removed the scabbard from his belt hook and handed it to Alan.

"The mana signature is not of Master Steve's!!" Alan surmised as soon as he touched the hilt, surprising Stan again. He nodded in agreement. Alan unsheathed the sword, performed a basic sword technique, and stood still, looking at its blade closely.

Stan was incredibly impressed to witness the execution of the stance with such skill and effortlessness at such a young age. He nodded approvingly.

"The workmanship is similar to Master Steve's, but it's more... how can I describe it? It feels more refined. That's it," Alan looked at Stan happily, smiling. "This sword is much refined and powerful. This must be the work of the Grandmaster Swordsmith Remus."

Stan laughed heartily, came to Alan, patted his shoulder. "Lad, you are one of a kind. Absolutely a gem. Yes, it is from Grandmaster Remus. He made it for me when I deliverd a letter from Steve when I visited the Capital. And it was me who brought back news to Steve that his master had returned from his long journey to the capital city."

"Come, let's go to my office. There is a surprise waiting for you," Stan happily accompanied both the boys back to his office.

When Stan and the two boys entered, they saw a middle-aged, sturdy man sitting in the headmaster's office.

He stood up and bowed to Stan, "Did you ask for me, Headmaster?" Harry asked, his voice deep and rich.

"How many times have I told you not to be so formal when we are alone, my friend?" Stan chided him. Harry looked at the two boys and then at Stan.

"Oh, sorry about that," Stan smiled apologetically. "These two here are special cases, if I may say so." Stan smiled at the boys and then at Harry.

Curious about Stan's fondness towards the boys, Harry observed carefully, and then his eyes widened. "They... they can use mana already?"

"Not only that, Alan here is a rare gem. He has multiple affinities," Stan looked around and whispered at Harry, who let out a low whistle. Grinning widely, he looked at Stan, saying, "Finally, I found someone with multiple affinities. My peaceful life is going out for a toss now." Harry shook his head, grinning at Stan.

"Okay, Stan, these two are my responsibility now. Rest assured, they will be the best adventurers ever to come out of this Academy once I am done with them."

"Hey, I am teaching Williams. He has an enhancement-type affinity," Stan the headmaster said, arguing.

"Besides, these kids are talented in other areas also. I have to plan for all those."

"Ha," Harry sighed. "Other areas of interest are a bit of an overburden for them, but let me tell you, these two are the best in my hands, friend. They might also be good at handling various weapons and hand-to-hand combat, if I am not wrong."

Stan looked at the boys and raised one of his eyebrows. They nodded together.

"Alas, you won, Harry. Stan sighed deeply.

Alan and Williams, this is Master Harry, the best weapons master this academy had ever seen. Even though he is extremely powerful than me, he still chose to stay as an S-Class adventurer just to avoid attention from others. He is a typical character but the best in what he does. So learn as much as possible from him," Stan said looking at the boys seriously.

Both boys nodded and then bowed to Harry.

"Harry, I will schedule their classes and let you know. Give me 10 days' time. Meanwhile, let them start attending the theoretical classes. I will observe their level of understanding. It will help me in scheduling."

"That's okay, Stan. Let them attend the classes for now. I also have to prepare for the training and that will take longer, depending on their talent.Harry asked.

Both boys nodded their heads enthusiastically. Harry let out a deep and hearty laughter, seeing their eagerness, and started towards the door. Before opening the door he looked at Stan, arrange 20 of your best students for tomorrow evening.

Why so many? Stan asked in puzzlement.

Come to watch it yourself at the masters training arena tomorrow. Harry smiled devilishly and then he left the room.
