Chapter 2: University

Aella and Nancy arrived to the country in which their university is present. Ares accompanied them to the country at the order of his father. There is still a week's time to open dorms of their university so they stayed at a hotel. After settling everything Ares told Aella and Nancy to be careful and inform if anything goes wrong. Aella and Nancy went to the airport to say good-bye for Ares.

" Aella, Nancy take care. Nancy call me if my sister gives you trouble or if she meets any serious trouble." saying this he gave a kiss on Aella's forehead and said good-bye to them.

Nancy took Aella to visit some places where she used to go the before semester with her friends. They went to some restaurants as Nancy is a foodie while Aella can't eat food except meat. After two days Aella's cousins called to meet up in a place. When Aella arrived there are totally four members seated on the table. Three of them are her cousins she guessed the other must be the human that Ares mentioned.

" Hello Aella! How is it in here?" the three of them shouted at once in joy as it is first time seeing her out of the mansion.

" Hi Alice, William, Justin. It's awesome in here. I visited many places with Nana" she told them with full of joy. Alice, William and Justin are the kids of her father's big brother, her uncle. Alice and William have blonde hair while Justin has inky black hair similar to Aella and Ares, their eyes are red too unlike the twins who have pinkish red eye color. They are members of a famous music band. So people probably think they get contact lenses.

" Hey Aella, this is Alex your human" they introduced him to her. Aella has a habit of drinking blood only from handsome men and beautiful women. She stongly believes that only their blood will be tasty. If the people aren't attractive enough she doesn't even touch their blood. Alex is handsome enough for her to drink blood. He has caramel hair color and brown eyes, his height slightly more than Aella, wheat colored skin and has a fit personality. Aella does't directly drink blood from humans most of the times. She only drinks directly from them when she has uncontrollable thirst for blood. Alex offered her a polite smile. she returned it to him.

" Hi Alex, I am Aella. But you should call me Angela. Don't get tensed, I won't suck all of your blood, I just need monthly four times or sometimes I may violate this condition and if that happens you will get more money. Let's be friends, I don't only want a blood bank I need friends too." she said to him with a friendly smile and he returned it. They chatted for quite a while. Her cousins said some interesting stories about the world here. They also warned about werewolves. Not to be friendly with them. Then Aella excused herself to restroom.

She washed her face and while walking towards the table where her cousins and she sat with Alex she felt a gaze of someone on her. she traced the direction of gaze she felt and met a pair of golden eyes, her legs stopped on their own at the sight of them. she gasped as they were so beautiful, she hadn't seen such a beautiful pair of eyes. Mostly she had seen are red and brown eyes. She stared at his eyes and he stared back at her brown eyes. They stared at each other as if time had stopped. Aella noticed that not only her but he also stopped walking and stood in front of her, gazing into her eyes with a confused expression as though as he is searching for an answer for the questions running through his mind. He was so tall maybe at the same level as Christian, her father. The man in front of her has warm Ivory skin. Chocolate brown hair, deep even eyebrows turned into perfect curves. Even though he wore a suit one could still figure out that he must have nice build. He is handsome enough for her to compare him with her father. In Aella's world her father is her hero. He is the most handsome man she had met in her life. Aella snapped out of trans at the thought of her father, cleared her mind she pushed herself forward. But he didn't move, blocking the way he stood still and stared at her with questions in his mind.

" Excuse me" she said in a polite voice. But he didn't even noticed that he is blocking the path.

" Yes?" is what he said looking at her. What? Is he still day dreaming? I guess he lost his mind, Am I that beautiful? she asked herself. She let out a sneaky smile at the thought of her beauty made him loose his mind, she cleared her throat and said " Please move, You are blocking my way" in a polite tone. He finally snapped out of his thoughts and let her pass through. He watched her back as she was leaving for her table. Finally his friend started dragging him from the place and he shifted his concentration.

" What took you so long Aella?" questioned Alice." Nothing. Hey, I have to go or else Nana will report to Ares" Aella said in a sad tone.

" It's okay. Call us if you need any help and Alex is in the same major as you. He can help you too. Alex take care of Aella this is her first time outside. Make sure to not be found by wolves" they gave advice to her to make sure Aella doesn't get caught by the wolves. Aella left to the hotel where she and Nancy are staying.

" Nana guess what, I saw a pair of golden eyes. They are breathtaking!" Aella is just telling everything to Nancy just like a child shares his daily schedule with his parents.

" There are is a student in our university. He has golden eyes too. He is handsome, just like the male god in those comics" said Nancy to Aella excitedly just like a fan girl speaking about her idol.

" Comics? What comics? Give me too. I want to read them" requested Aella.

Nancy gave Aella some romance comic books to read. Aella read all of them in two days without sleeping. Nancy was shocked at Aella's interest towards the comics.

" Aella, what did you understand about love after reading these comics?" Nancy asked Aella in a doubting tone as to test if Aella really read these books.

" I understood that there will be many problems in love and the pair becomes each others weakness and hurt each other which I hate it to the core.I finally understood why father and Ares told me not to fall in love. They don't want me to get hurt. I won't fall in love. I will marry anyone but my destined one. In this way there will be no problems for me in the future". Nancy's mouth dropped open she didn't expect Aella to understand the wrong meaning of love. It's okay, Aella hates love so I have one less worry ,Nancy thought to herself.

Finally they moved their luggage to the dorms. They settled themselves in a room. Where each room has two beds opposite to each other next to the walls, a washroom in the corner and a window between the beds, where a human can fit in to jump outside the only thing is the room is on the third floor. Through window we can see a garden and next to it is a forest on a higher level from the ground. The beds are on the top of cupboard which is for clothes and there is a little space for study beside the cupboard. They unpacked everything and arranged their things. They got off the room and went to cafeteria for dinner. Nancy ate but Aella didn't touch food except for meat pieces. After finishing their dinner they went back into the room. Nancy called Ares while Aella started writing her journal. They switched off the lights and slept.

A huge wolf with milky white fur and golden eyes is chasing her. She is running faster than ever. She realized she was running and suddenly stopped and turned towards the wolf as if to attack it. Her eyes filled with killing intent at the thought of the wolf attacking her. She ran faster towards the wolf and tried to attack by gripping its neck but the wolf didn't give Aella a chance. It rushed back and when Aella landed on ground it started to chase her. As fast as she is planning to escape by running faraway from the wolf, the wolf gets nearer to her even though she uses all her strength. Finally she reaches to a cliff, Aella thinks of jumping of cliff but before she could act the wolf pounced upon her restricting her to move. And finally the wolf gave an angry growl loud enough to make her wake up from her dream. Aella was sweating, she took some time to calm down. She looked at the surroundings and its already morning.

" Aella, what happened? you are sweating. Did you have a nightmare?" Nancy asked worriedly.

" It's just a dream Nana. Don't worry too much" assured Aella." Okay, then get ready. It's your first day in the university. We shouldn't be late" said Nancy.

" Okay, give me ten minutes" she said and went to washroom to fresh up. Aella came out with a cream color frock up to her knees. Her pale face is filled with excitement. Nancy offered to style he long black hair which extends to her thighs. Aella's hair was braided perfectly. She was so beautiful with her angelic features. She smiled at Nancy with her fangs visible, they retracted back now she is just like any other human though her body temperature is less than them.The twins body temperatures are higher than a vampire and lesser than humans as they are hybrids.
