Welcome Party- Part 1

"Cho take this hat, scarf and coat", said Ani and handed them to her

"Why?", asked Cho while holding them.

"Because I want to wear it", said Ani.

"Don't tell me you will go to the Campus wearing this hat and above all a coat", said Cho.

"So what? I'm not feeling comfortable with this dress. I exchanged the dress with someone else at the shopping arena and I saw it just today morning", said Ani and looked at her dress.

"So why are you covering your face?", asked Cho.

"If Jun will look at me then I'll be doomed", said Ani.

"Ani you're thinking about him. It's such a pretty dress. You're looking so pretty in it", said Cho.

"Yes because if he will see me like this then I'll....ughh...let's Go", said Ani and locked the apartment door and left for the Campus with Cho.

Since their welcome ceremony is in morning so she thought to leave for the Campus as early as possible.

"Ani it's 7:30am only". I'm going inside the room. It's too early to leave for the Campus", said Cho.

"Don't....we've to go right now", said Ani.

"Why?", asked Cho.

"I don't want Jun to catch me like this", said Ani.

"Then it's good. At least he will start looking at you as a woman. If he will see then other boys too", said Cho.

"Look other boys don't even know me so they will not notice but Jun knows me...Now let's hurry", said Ani and wore the coat, hat and scarf.

"Ani I'm telling anyone will notice if you go like this", said Cho.

"No one....I've booked the taxi straight to the campus don't worry", said Ani.

They both got into the taxi and left for the college. They were the first one to reach there. Since taxi can't go beyond the parking area so they've to walk till there.

Since it was early morning so there weren't so many students but seniors were there. So they were staring at Ani who is covered with a coat and hat in summer days.

"Ani I told you everyone will look at us", said Cho while hiding her face with her palm.

"Don't look at them just walk straight", said Ani.

They both reached outside the building and went to the washroom. She took off her coat and hat and put them inside her bag.

"Cho let's go the locker room. I'll put this bag there", said Ani and rushed there.

Other juniors also started coming in the auditorium.

Ani and Cho get seated at the 5th row. Yun came to them and said, "Ani Cho you both are looking beautiful".

"Yun thanks...btw you're looking so handsome", said Cho with a smile.

"Ani this wasn't the dress that you chose but still it's looking good", said Yun looking at her.

"You noticed this. My dress was exchanged with someone....", said Ani and sighed.

"But you're looking good in this too", said Yun and smiled.

"Yun do you know how she came here? By covering herself with a coat and wearing a hat", said Cho.

"Why? This dress is also nice", said Yun.

"But for someone it can be revealing", said Cho.

"Who?", asked Yun.

"No one. She is just kidding btw did you saw Tae?", asked Ani.

"He told me that he might be late", said Yun.

All the seats start filling and the environment was so cheerful.

"Okay everyone please pay attention. I'm Park Yeol Cheol a 2nd year student. We all are happy to see our juniors here. So let's begin the introduction. Who will be the first one to initiate the event?".

A hand raised. It was a girl from there class but they didn't know her. All start cheering for her.

"Please come at the stage junior", said Yeol.

"Hello friends. I'm Kim Ha young. I'm in faculty of Health and nutrition. Hope we all will get along together happily". Some students started whistling and others were cheering loud for her.

"Ha you can't leave so soon", said another senior. Her name is Eunha. "You've to perform for us. You can dance or song".

Ha young sang a song. She has a beautiful voice that entire atmosphere become cheerful.

Loud cheering noises can be heard with seniors dancing on her song.

After her another young man went to the stage. He performed a dance for the seniors. Everyone was enjoying but Ani was blank.

"Cho I shouldn't have come", said Ani looking at those students.

"Why?", asked Cho.

" They will ask me to perform. I don't know anything", said Ani nervously.

"Then say No. They won't pressurize you", said Cho.

Ani was becoming more and more nervous since her turn was going to come.

"Cho Yun we should sit at last. Maybe they will not notice", said Ani looking at the back seats.

"Ani nothing will happen. Just sit here and relax", said Cho.

It was Yun's turn so he went to the stage. Everyone cheered for him.

"Looks like this handsome junior is already famous....", said Eunha.

Yun introduced himself.

"Yun what can you do for us?", asked Yeol.

"I can play guitar", said Yun with a smile.

"Okay then bring the guitar", said Yeol to one of his friends and he hand over it to Yun.

Yun starts playing the guitar. Everyone was cheering and some students start dancing on the song.

Ani looked this as an opportunity and tried to escape from there. She stood from her corner side chair and ran behind and put the scarf over her face so that no one can notice her.

"Yun is such a versatile person", murmured Ani.

Yun went off the stage but everyone was still cheering for him. "Once more once more once more...." such noises can be heard there.

"Cho where's Ani?", asked Yun looking at Ani's seat.

"She is....was...  find her it's my turn", said Cho confusingly and went to the stage.

Cho's bold personality attracted everyone attention. She introduced herself.

"Cho you've a great personality. Can you sing for us?", asked Yeol.

"I can dance...", said Cho.

Loud cheering noise as soon as she said she will dance can be heard. She did a dance on kpop song.

"My girl I knew that she will rock the stage", murmured Ani looking at her from behind.

After her Tae went to the stage.

"Tae is here?", murmured Ani.

Tae introduced himself.

"Our juniors are so handsome and beautiful. Filled with so much talent. So Tae what do you want to do for us", asked Eunha.

"I want to play guitar for you guys", said Tae.

Again cheering can be heard.

Since Tae was last among the juniors Ani took a breath of relief. She thought to leave the auditorium before anyone can notice her. She stood up from her seat and walked silently to the door when of the senior, Seol Ah caught her.

"Hey junior where are you going? ", asked Seol Ah and went to her.

She brought her at the front. Ani tried to pacify her senior.

"I was just going to washroom....I think my makeup...", said Ani while stammering.

After Tae's performance ended Seol Ah told her to go on stage.

Ani was in dilemma now because she never thought she would get caught. Everyone was looking at her and started gossiping about her. Yun and Cho who were searching for her stopped at their places.

Ani went onto the stage with fear on her face. She is nervous and above all her dress, she is feeling uncomfortable in it.

Yeol gave her the Mic and told her to introduce herself.

Ani hold the mic and looked at front.

She is feeling so nervous that she bent her eyes down and said," Hell..o...My ..my name is....Cha..cha Ani....."

"Junior don't be afraid. Relax yourself", said Yeol. Ani felt relieved hearing his mind words.

"Seol Ah went on to the stage and told Eunha that she was skipping the introduction ceremony. She is lying saying that she was going to washroom to check her makeup".

Eunha looked at Ani and then went towards her.
