Remembrance: Part 2
It's 30 min but Ani didn't come out of her room. By then Jae too came. "Jun where's Ani?", asked Jae.
"In her room...don't go there just wait here", said Jun gesturing him to sit on the couch.
Jae also sat beside him on the couch. "Soo and Woo hyung will come by tomorrow morning", said Jae.
"Do you know how to cook?", asked Jun.
"No....", replied Jae.
"Are you hungry. Should I order something to eat?", asked Jae.
"No.....we've to cook", said Jun.
"Okay we can refer some food videos", said Jae and they went inside the kitchen.
"Jun but there is nothing", said Jae.
"Oh I almost forgot that house is close for two years", said Jun and scratched his head. "Order something nice", said Jun and walked out of the kitchen. The night was falling and Ani was still in her room. Jun decided to go there. He went inside her room and saw she was sitting on her bed holding the dress.
"Hey.....get up and come with me", said Jun while shaking her up.
"Leave me alone", said Ani. This was the first time she talked to him so rudely. He holds her hand and said to her it's dark now.
"I want to be alone", said Ani.
Jun got raged at her stubbornness. "Hey what will change just by sitting here, looking at this dress and that photo. Will everything turn normal if you will be alone?", said Jun.
"Everyday I think why did this happen to me? It's my bad fate which took my mom and dad's life. I'm the sole reason for their demise.....", said Ani and started crying. The emotions engulfed inside her could be felt.
"I can't do anything.....everyone is bothered because of me....I should die at that time why it has to be my dad. He said to me that he is coming and is bringing my favourite cake.....but he never came back....", said Ani while crying heavily.
Jun hugged her tightly and told her to calm down and not to think about such things.
"It's all in past. Why do you think it's all because of you. No one is bothered or irritated from you. It's there care for you. I'm sorry not to be with you at that time when you need me the most. Your dad said once to me that his daughter happiness is his happiness and whenever she cries his heart is ached. So don't cry. It's only hurting him. The person who loves you never leaves you, he/she are always with you....In your Heart....", said Jun.
Ani stopped crying. Jun caressed her head lovingly and then wiped her eyes and face said, "Kid don't cry anymore now because you're hurting your dad and mom only. Be a girl who they always imagined". "Now go wash your face the dinner is ready. Come downstairs in the hall", said Jun and walked out of her from. Ani went to the washroom and washed her face.
"Jun the food has arrived. Where's Ani?", said Jae.
"I remember she never comes out of her room in this day", said Jae when he saw Ani was coming downstairs.
"Jae you're also here...", asked Ani.
"Well how could I not be here?",said Jae. "Come let's have dinner".
"Thanks Jae to be with me all these years", said Ani and passed a gentle smile to him.
"Wooh....what's the sudden change in your mood. I'm your friend Ani so don't say thanks", said Jae and pulled her cheeks.
"Okay you both sit here I'll bring some plates and water", said Ani.
"What did you do Jun that Ani came?", asked Jae curiously.
"Nothing...", said Jun.
They ate their dinner and then Ani cleaned the dishes. Jae too helped her.
"You don't wanna go", asked Ani from Jun.
"That's why we both are here", said Jun.
"Are you tired? You can sleep", said Jun to Ani.
"I want to go into the garden", said Ani.
"Let's go then", said Jae and took her there. Jun too accompanied them.
There was a swing in the garden. Ani sat on it and told Jae to sit with her.
"Jun would you please swing it for us", said Jae.
"Sure....", said Jun and pushed the swing. Jun keeps on pushing the swing and giggles of Ani and Jae can be heard.
"Jun come now you sit here....I'll push", said Jae.
"I don't like kid things", said Jun.
"Okay then we trio can sit on it. Since cool breeze is blowing it would be good", said Jae.
Jun also sat with them. In the middle there was Ani and by her side Jun and Jae.
"Jae do you know if there is a shooting star and if you makes a wish when it passes by it comes true", said Ani.
"You studied science and still believe in such ridiculous things", said Jun.
"I know but many people say this...", said Ani looking at the sky.
"Then if we will be lucky enough then we can probably see it", said Jae.
"Stop it Jae....no such things happen", said Jun.
Suddenly Ani saw the shooting star and shouted look. Hurry make a wish. Both Ani and Jae closed their eyes and make their wishes. Ani then opened her eyes and asked Jae what he wished for.
"First you tell me", said Jae.
" No you've to tell first", said Ani.
"No you Ani", said Jae.
"Jun what did you wish for", asked Jae looking at him.
" I didn't. I don't believe in such things", said Jun.
"Ani ignore him....he's always like this. Now tell me your wish", said Jae.
"Jae I can't....until it will get fulfil", said Ani. "I'm feeling sleepy now", said Ani and got up from the swing.
"I'm going to bed too Jun", said Jae looking at him.
"You both can sleep in dad's room as other rooms aren't cleaned. Okay then good night", said Ani and went inside.
Jae quickly went inside the house.
On the other hand Jun went inside after an hour. He went upstairs to Ani's room to check whether she is sleeping or not. But she was already fallen to sleep. Jun sat beside her and caressed her head.
"Kid thanks for returning home" , murmured Jun. After a few minutes he walked outside of her room closing the door behind him.
