Chapter 24: The Devil In Me

After this woman found out her soul had been transferred somehow, she started texting Rebecca.

"𝚈𝚎𝚊𝚑 𝙸 𝚜𝚊𝚒𝚍 𝚒𝚝. 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚗𝚎𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚙 𝚑𝚒𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚖 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚜𝚎𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚌𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚍𝚛𝚎𝚗," 𝚁𝚎𝚋𝚎𝚌𝚌𝚊 𝚜𝚊𝚢𝚜

Brooklyn notices that Abibat is gone, so she goes on a search to find her. Meanwhile, Rebecca is in Zion, about to leave to warn Heather, but then the unexpected happened. Rebecca saw heaven with Griffin in Zion.

"What the fork?" Rebecca says she's confused and runs out of her building, then flies towards them in an angry

"Why the heck are you two here?" Rebecca asked

"I should be asking you the same damn question," Heaven says, and Rebecca was confused.

"Wha-?" Rebecca was interrupted.

"You knew the truth, yet you hid it from me and my sister." What the heck? "You're supposed to be my forking godmother, yet all you've done is keep more secrets." Heaven lashes out at her.

"You didn't answer my question." "Why are you here?" Rebecca asked

"To see my forking mother and to know the truth because it's obvious you're hiding it," Heaven angrily says.

"Hiding what truth?" Griffin asked, and Rebecca looked at him with a pissed-off look.

"Your mother is back on Earth. "Why are you here?" Rebecca asked again.

"Because I sold my soul to a demon, now I need help getting back to my body," Heaven says, and Rebecca was surprised.

"You sold your soul to a demon?" Griffin asked

"Who was the demon you sold it to?" Rebecca asked

"I don't remember, but I was always told to never talk to strangers," Heaven says while shrugging her shoulders, and Rebecca takes a breath.

"SIGH! ""Do you know how they look?" Rebecca was annoyed.

"Oh yeah, she has grey skin, blue eyes, is very pretty, and has long black hair," Heaven describes, and Rebecca looks confused.

"Oh, that's my ex-girlfriend Abibat." She turns people's nightmares into reality and can take over souls whether she wants to or not. She probably took over your body because she needed to. Griffin explains, and Rebecca glares at him.

"Oh, really, why did you break up with her?" Rebecca asked, crossing her arms.

"Rebecca, we really don't have time for," Heaven puts her hand on her forehead.

"Well before I cheated on you and a few other girls with her, just because I don't usually sleep with demons, after making that terrible mistake, I realized I needed you—hell, I wanted you," Griffin says while holding her hands.

Rebecca's wings pop out.

"Also, she was a very evil person who you could never trust." I mean, she worked under Lucifer, so what would you expect?" Griffin asked, shrugging his shoulders.

"I love you too," Rebecca said, and she started kissing him.

Heaven made a weird face and stole her phone. Heaven started texting someone named Brooklyn.

"𝙳𝚘𝚗'𝚝 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚢 𝙸'𝚖 𝚝𝚛𝚢𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚏𝚒𝚗𝚍 𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚛𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚗𝚘𝚠," 𝙱𝚛𝚘𝚘𝚔𝚕𝚢𝚗 𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚙𝚘𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚍

while Brooklyn was looking for Abibat. Abibat was already with Lucifer, who was on his throne.

"Lucifer": "I have the body of your niece; you can use it however you please," Abbott says. "Whatever comes out of the body is disgusting, Lucifer."

"Oh my god, did you have to do that in front of me?" Lucifer asked sarcastically while covering his face.

"Kinda had to," Abibat says, and Lucifer gets off of his throne to analyze the body.

"Well, the body still looks good." "Does she still have her powers?" Lucifer asked

"Yes, she does, and now you have control over what she can and cannot do since she has no control over her body," Abibat says, and Lucifer laughs menacingly.

"Thank you, Abibat, for helping me accomplish a task I've been trying to do for centuries," Lucifer exclaimed while Abibat bowed.

"Oh, and also before you take Heaven's body, we need to have a little chat," Abibat says, and angry souls surround Lucifer.

"What are you doing?" Lucifer asked angrily.

"See, I can actually take over this place because not only am I more responsible, but my power is related to souls, and they respect me," Abibat says, which shocks Lucifer.

"YOU WORK UNDER ME!" You were nothing without me! Lucifer shouted at her, making her smirk.

"I am doing what is right for both of us!" "The land of the forgotten will be feared under my control, and I will reign supreme," Abibat says, raising her hands as Lucifer is lifted up by the souls.

Lucifer tried to set them on fire, but they couldn't be hurt.

The souls lift him up over a pit of punished and violently forgotten souls. The heat that came from the pit would be unbearable if it were not for the fact that he was the devil. Lucifer couldn't use his power over the pit because this pit will deactivate any demon, angel, or goddess' power as it was made to torch them.

"I am the devil!" "You cannot kill me!" Lucifer says sternly

"And I am the new ruler of the forgotten land." "I will give these souls the freedom, the respect, and the loyalty they deserve, as I am not Abibat anymore but the new Lucifer Morningstar!" Abibat changes into a copycat of Lucifer Morningstar.

Abibat commands the souls to drop Lucifer. The souls dropped him in the pit, where the souls dragged him down farther and farther, where his skin was getting more and more wrinkly. Lucifer was at the bottom of the pit in his natural form, revealing himself to be Aunt Lucy. Lucy passed out right then and there while Abibat had the biggest smile on her face.

Abibat gathers all of the souls in the forgotten land together as she prepares her speech.

"We will reign over Earth and kill people who get in our way." There will be no such thing as forgiveness when we are all forgotten. "We want revenge not only on that planet but on this lady too," Abibat says, showing them a picture of Brooklyn.

"Ms. Abibat, isn't she our god?" "Without her, who will control Zion?" A soul asked, and Abibat still kept that smile on her face.

"Once she dies, we will have control over Zion due to their daughter's soul being trapped somewhere else." "Their other daughter cannot take control over Zion as the demon king made an agreement to make her take over Purgatory," Abibat explains as she gets on one knee.

"Souls of the Forgotten Land, you shall be set free and take control over every human on earth!" Abibat commands as her eyes turn gray.

Abibat opened a portal above them, and they all left in a hurry.

"WE WILL TAKE OVER!" "WE WILL TAKE OVER!" The souls chanted

"From generation to generation, may the original demon lord bless us all with the power we need to win this battle," Abibat says, getting off of her knee, as the last souls enter the portal before it closes.

Abibat walked back to her throne, where she turned from her copycat version of Lucifer to her true form. Abitbat crosses her legs and puts on a crown Lucifer used to wear. Abibat smiles victoriously as she has won the century war.
