Spar

Just as Neil and his father was having a little bit of discussion about politics a huge bang was heard on the door causing it to fall of its hinges.

"I won!" Remiris said holding the flower while walking up t Neil, it was at that moment that Noel walked in but instead of a flower there was a bag on her hand while she chewed in some kind of meat which gave off an Appetizing aroma.

"What happened what's in the bag?" The king couldn't help but ask In a curious manner as to why she was holding a bag rather than a flower.

"Oh! this? on my way to the mountain I got carried a way by the aroma of this meat, it tasted do delicious that I didn't want to leave, when I eventually got full I bought some so I could eat later, it's the best meat there is, it's called great chicken meat!"

"Chicken? could it be that they never knew that the meat if fowl was edible.....no that can't be it, if not a many fowl farms wouldn't be everywhere except if there was a monster called great fowl or Great chicken" Neil came to a conclusion as to why it was called great chicken meat.

Meanwhile Remiris had finally approached him with a flower on her hand, she knew she was forgetting something but she couldn't quite remember it....She stretched her right hand which was holding the flower towards Neil who wore a surprised expression all over his face as he had forgotten about the competition of yesterday.

"Is This a proposal? as to what I read, if female elves give flowers to male it means they're deeply in love, wow!! I never knew you loved me!"Neil said in a surprised tone which left Remiris frozen out if embarrassment as her hand could be seen twitching until eventually the flower fell off, it was at this moment she remembered what she was forgetting.

Suddenly her once look fair complexion that looked almost white suddenly turned bright red like a tomato.."You!!"Remiris said shyness as she clenched her fist tightly. "Common Neil, follow me to the training grounds, I feel as if none of us win the competition and I'm sure Remiris must already be tired from going up the mountains and searching for flowers so she won't mind!" Noel said In a sense of victory.

"You're right I'm pretty tired and it's already late, I'm off to bed."Remiris managed to say with a shallow expression, to everybody it was a simple joke but to her it is was a very important tradition and doing it meant she had....She couldn't imagine to herself what would have happen if she had done it back home.

Noel and Neil were now in the training ground, each wearing their own taste of amour, Vander the chief butler was asked to supervise the spar by the king in his place as he claimed he had urgent matters yo attend to in his room....

"You might have learnt a few tricks from that bitch!! but don't think that's enough to stop me."Noel said as he cracked her knuckles. "We'll only have to see about that!" Neil said as he watched Noel dashing towards him with speed she threw a pinch at him which Neil also managed to dodge. "Is that an enhancing magic?" Neil asked leaping backwards to avoid the spinning kick that had came fir his head.

"It seems like you're well educated.....if all you're going to do is dodge it's going to be pretty bo-" She hadn't completed her sentence when she felt an heavy kick to the ribs, if she hadn't enhanced her body she was sure she would have broke a bone or two.

If I hadn't enhanced my muscle mass I would have broken a bone or two, I looked at my brother to confirm if he was the one who threw the punch but he wasn't anywhere to be found. "You're easily carried a way." A Tiny voice sounded at my back, I easily recognized it. "That's Neil!!" I had planned to duck out if instinct but I felt his foot hard on my back which sent me few feet into the air like a broken kite before Crashing on the ground at the feet of Vander.

"It seems your junior bro is getting the upper hand."I heard vander's voice as he gave me a calm smile. I stood up on my feet as I cleaned the blood that rolled down my mouth....I was done holding back realizing he isn't a weak opponent.

He dashed towards me with a speed that I almost couldn't follow. but I already had a plan, just as he was five meters away from me. "Ice coffin." I casted the level 3 ice magic I had just recently learnt, any being it freezes would loose all senses and as such would not be able to break Free.

I could see the look on my brothers face when he found out his whole lower body had frozen in an instant. I could here him mumbling some words but I couldn't quite make sense of the words all I could here at the ending was ".....Fist"

In three seconds he had turned into a sculpture of ice.... "Using such powerful spell on your brother is a little bit harsh!"The butler told me, but I ignored as I knew he might be a kid but his power was no laughing matter and besides "It would melt when the sun comes up to morrow it when it's heated!" It was at that Moment I spotted the Smile if satisfaction on the face of Vander, I felt a sudden chill enveloping my internal organs that it took me five seconds just to turn back.

"You know Mr Vander is right, using such powerful spell on your brother is a little bit harsh." That was the word I heard from the mouth of my brother as he had broken free with his hand enveloped in flames.

"But how?" I asked him as there would be noway to cast a spell inside the ice. He finally gave me an answer after ten seconds of silent. "I already casted it before you froze me, but it's just that i hadn't materialize it with mana and as such my Mana was now hot enough to melt it from the inside." that was what I heard before I felt my body being swept up from the ground.

"Hurricane." I was surrounded by a gust of wind while being lifted twenty meters above the ground, I knew I had lost, I had underestimated my brother for dar too long, if I had started with full power just like he did I would have had the advantage.... "I give up!"

"~she probably thinks I used full power but in reality not even close to 5 percent..... She's indeed weak for an elder sister of mine."

"Ah!!! Good job master Neil, it was splendid your control over mana was simply exceptional."Vander praised while Noel just left the scene with a little bit of disappointment in her self.

Neil knew what she was Feeling, loosing to your junior in any competition is not something to laugh about, it makes you feel unfit and incompetent....In Neil's mind He just hoped she wasn't that sad.
