chapter 5

'Raw was the plan to leave afterwards?' I asked as I walked to my horse to get my pack.

'Yes,' Raw answered. ' Luke already sent the other off to get their belongings.'

'Okay,' i responded. 'I have everything I need here already. My pack is on my horse, and I need to send starlight home.' 

I approached my horse. 'Starlight head home. I must leave and will be back to check on everything when I can. Be well and be swift. goodbye till the next time we meet my friend.'

I pulled off the single pack that was small and light. Carrying some money on me was no problem. 

After a while the rest of the riders came, I immediately recognized a problem that was going to happen. Think for a short while I thought of Vale, who was a wild dragon that has been hang near me because of the danger she has been in. 

"Hey Raw. I think there may be a problem. Unless you can carry everything," I said to raw.

'No, I cannot carry everyone and the packs. I just mention this concern to Luke' Raw responded.

"I have an idea that could help out,' i said. 'She more or less would help because of me. To be clear I am talking about a wild dragon that I have been helping out. She is very careful of who she is around, and I have been protecting her.'

'That would work if she is willing to help that dwould be great,' Raw responded excitedly. "I will let Luke know of this. He may diagree but if anything, he will agree when I point out that we can put you and the packs on the wild dragon.'

'I have ridden on her before,' i informed Raw.

'Vale, are you out there,' I sent out to her. 

'Yes,' she responded. 'What can I do for you?'

'I am having to go to a school for dragon riders and I know you would prefer to be near me. So, we have a problem here. first there is to many people for the bonded dragon to carry everyone and packs. second, I would not want to ride with these other new riders at all. so do you think you could help out?' I asked.

'Yes, I would love to help out. I wonder if the other dragon would want me as a mate if he does not have one yet. I would really love to have some young ones to raise,' Vale express.

'Well, you can find out when you get here and maybe you could create a bond with him, ' I encouraged her. changing my focus to Raw I sent to him, ' She has agreed. Also, she is wondering about you and if you are mated yet. Vale has been having a hard life and just wants to have a male that would be there for her. She has been in many fights for who she is in the dragon world because of how rare her kind is.'

"No, I have not met a female that would perk my interest. If Vale does, we will find out on the flight before our first stop,' Raw paused for a short time. "I just informed Luke that Vale is willing to help and also interested in possibly becoming my mate if all works out.'

'I am coming in for a landing,' Vale sent to me.
