24. Unexpected!

Dhvani saw everyone leaving, while Arjun still stayed, she didn't know why! When he finally hesitatingly came to stand beside her, she looked at him! Arjun halted!

"Is there anything you want to say Arjun?"

He tried not to look weird or act foolish as he cleared his voice, but that's what it made him look like! "Uhm...ah...I actually....."

Dhvani's brows raised, he hesitated even more, "I actually like you very much! I am a huge fan of you!!" he blurted closing his eyes! When she said nothing, he slowly opened his eyes and saw her who was still staring him with brows even more raised now! She looked away, "I think I know it!"

Arjun sighed in relief, "I....always wanted to say this to you.... but....I couldn't!"

She nodded, "And.... I am happy that I could today!!" he breathed!

She again looked back at him, "What do you like in me and why?"

He was taken aback then became thoughtful, "At first I was just attracted, like drawn to your voice?! But when I started to here more, I started to feel! The..... sadness?! I somehow always hear it, in every song, atleast once!"

"Your songs make me feel...." he looked in distance as if her voice was still echoing in his ears, "Something I never felt!"

He closed his, "A worth bearing suffering!!" he breathed, she chuckled, he frowned and looked at her opening his eyes! "You don't believe me?"

She shook her head, "You can leave!"

He hesitated, "May I....ask you something?"

She gave him a nod, "Why do you hide yourself?"

"You might get to know once you achieve what you are working for!"

He shrugged, "Will I ever?"

She looked at him for a brief moment, "It depends on you!!" she looked away!

He smiled, "It depends on me!!" he nodded to himself, "Alright, I am leaving! See you tomorrow!" he smiled and waved his hand, she didn't say anything, and he left! She sighed and made herself comfortable in the piano seat! It had been a while since she played it and her fingers itched now! She always had a deep passion for instruments, so much that she always found herself focused on incidental music and orchestra!

As she decided to play it, she soon found herself lost in the process only until a sound of a pair of hands clapping grabbed her attention when she stopped! She looked at the door and found him leaning against the door who now pushed himself away, making his way to her until he was a few feet away from her!

"Do you like piano?" he asked!

She looked at the black and white chords then back up at him again, shaking her head, "I like violin!"

He smiled, "I like flute!" he said while taking a seat beside her as well, she who almost smiled at his statement was taken aback now seeing him sit beside her! They both looked at each other before he downed his head and now he was the one to play, the same one she had played a while ago! She just looked at him in silence, until she couldn't even realise when her fingers joined and they both played along! He smiled while she finally sang the lyrics!

Ajay was surprised and his fingers went on pause as he looked her singing with eyes closed until she finished the first two verses!

Dhvani opened her eyes slowly, her fingers now withdrawn, she looked at him, "These were the verses!" she said! He said nothing but soon her mobile rang, she looked away and lifted the call before nodding once and hanging the call, while he still kept staring her!

"Ajith is waiting for me! I have to leave!"

"Ajith?" he frowned! She looked away for a moment before looking back at him!

"My brother!" she said while standing, taking her handbag and wearing the mask, she gave him a nod and left the room! He just saw her leaving figure in silence!

Her sweet voice echoed in his ears. Why did it feel like similar? Making him feel something?!

With something uncertain he felt, Ajay stood and decided to leave as well, Choi would be home by now, after the meeting, he said the man to leave. When he got out, he saw her leaving and the gaurds kept her assisting until the car left!

Ajay still couldn't understand what was with her! She denied when he asked and today she let him hear by herself! What was she thinking when she was singing?

She shook her head, "My car was!"

He chuckled as he kept driving! "Where were you?" she asked, making him halt!

Dhruv as soon as he left Star this morning made his way to Alia's coaching spot! When he entered he saw her through the window, attending her classes. Alia wore a light blue skirt with a light grey coat while her hair was left open.

He waited outside until she was done! It had been two hours since he waited for her and when she came out of the room with the other students, she first didn't see him, but when she did, her brows raised in surprise!

She saw him who was today strangely dressed in an informal way unlike him! Dhruv always used to wear suits of colours that suited him well but today he wore a loose black full hand t-shirt and black trousers with white sneakers!

He who till now was leaning against the wall pulled himself ahead and reached her with a smile! She shrugged in surprise with a smile, "What are you doing here?"

"My sister said me to find company and I can't find any better than you!!"

She frowned and smiled shaking her head, as they both got out of the studio, "How did you know that this is where I attend classes?"

He shrugged and gave her the pendrive, she with a frown took it back, "This also had your resumes and applications!"

She nodded, "Have you heard it?" she asked beaming a smile!

He nodded, "I liked them! So much that I made a copy to hear it myself whenever I wish to!!"

She shook her head with a wave of her hand, "Where are you going now?" he asked!

"Kindergarten!" she said!

"Why?"

"I work there!!" she smiled again!

Oh this lady, why does she always smile?! "Won't you get tired?"

She frowned now looking at him, "Of what??"

His hand raised which was till now rested in his pocket just like the other hand, his clenched palm expect his index finger pointing her, she looked down his finger then up his eyes again, giving him a look of 'What?'

"That smile!!" he said before his hand again rested in his pocket!

She shook her head, "No I am serious, How can you do that?"

She became thoughtful, "I don't know, but you may know! Observing is a great thing you know!!" she smiled again! He shook his head now, "I will drop you!"

She thought for a second before nodding!
