After waking up with a terrible headache, both Orion and Jacob took some time to remember the events of the past night, after few minutes, both of them became livid. Looking at each other they couldn't believe what they had done. It seems that they had drunk a little too much and they even signed a system contract with Aaron. One had to know that a system contract was unbreakable, at least if you cherished your life. Orion asked Jacob to give him a beer as he needed something to relieve the shock he faced. After an hour and three beers for both of them, Aaron finally entered the pub. He was shocked to see that both of them already took three beers at 8 in the morning.
"Hey guys what are you doing, how could my business partners be alcoholics, stop drinking!" He said while pushing their cups away. "I was hoping for you to sober up when I came back but I guess you guys really enjoy the alcohol taste. I'll put that on excitement as I refuse to have misjudged you." He added.
"Okay let's start the first meeting, you guys remember what we agreed on ?" He said with an enthusiastic tone in his voice.
The day before when they signed the contract, Jacob agreed to be the intermediate between him and the tower, he'd be provided with the money to buy everything by Aaron. The moment he made the acquisition of the goods, he'll be in charge of their functioning as Aaron will not interfere in any of the decision made by Jacob. He'll keep 25% of all the profits for himself and distribute the rest to Aaron as per the system contract. Added to the fact that he'll need to join Aaron guild. Honestly that were some really good conditions as it'll help him to climb the floors should he make some money in this deal. He was quite happy because he didn't signed a slave contract in his drunk state. So he told Aaron what was in his mind.
"The problem is that the Protectors are controlling every supply on this floor, so it will be hard unless we can buy the fields, there are 18 of them left but they cost 20 thousand gold coins each, and even the Protectors could only buy two of them, and they were in control of the economy for two years, controlling every trades for billions of individuals. So I don't know how you'll find the money, yesterday it was a good plan because we were all drunk but today it seems to fall short in quite a few key points" He said, not hiding his thoughts.
"So buying all of the fields will cost 360 thousands gold coins…. It'll take me a while to recover but I guess we have no choice if we want to establish our dominance." Casually said Aaron.
"Huh ??" Both, Jacob and Orion exclaimed by what they heard. He was talking like he had the 360 thousands gold in his wallet, was he crazy ? Or maybe he needed a psychiatric examination. Just before Jacob could try to comprehend what was going on, he was taken by surprise as Aaron threw him a magic purse. After catching it, he opened it and was frozen on the spot. There was 370 thousands gold coins in this purse. He wanted to speak but he couldn't. His lips were tied from the shock. Seing this, Orion couldn't comprehend and asked him a question.
"What is going on ?? Did you lost your tongue or something ? Don't tell me you really were expecting him to give you 360 thousands gold coins ? If that's the case you really are a naive one my friend."
"No… there is actually 10 thousands more gold coins in this purse than the 360 thousands we need"
"...…" Orion brain froze on the spot faced with this information, it was his turn to be mute under the shock.
"Yeah, you'll need to pay the workforce if you want to produce something no ? How could I give you only the minimum ?" Aaron said casually. Before adding "Is it enough or you need more ? As we'll need a store to sell the goods, I'll give you enough funds so that you'll be able to buy a whole street when the first phase is done don't worry."
"When I went to the guild register center this morning, I overheard a curious discussion about a future event, that will soon take place, do any of you have information about this ?" He asked them.
Jacob was the first to give him an answer. "Yes, when my pub was not targeted by the Protectors guild, they used to refresh themselves here, and you know that alcohol can make even the most secretive ones open their mouths. I heard something at that time but it was something I couldn't interfere with so I discarded this information as it was useless for me at that moment but with you in the boat the events might take a different turns. It seems that an auction will take place when every tower will have their 20th floor clear. I don't know the exacts details of this auction but it'll be something big I guess, since even the Protectors are savings funds to participate, it's one of the reasons they only brought 2 fields. To my latest informations, the primordial rankers are preparing the raid as they are almost all under the Protectors guild banner, Amelia the second in command of the guild is the one preparing the raid, it should happen in the next 27 days as failure is not an option for them and Allen gave the order to clear this floor by the end of the month. Amelia herself is scary enough, I can't imagine them failing with such a group."
Hearing that, Aaron was stunned as it seems that not only was his new associate a good merchant but he was really skilled at gathering informations.
"Thank you for the informations, we might need to change some things if we want to take a part of the pie. It seems that we will need some information bureau or something like that in the future if we don't want to be left behind. But firstly go buy the fields as we will discuss the others matters when you come back. And be certain that when you buy the fields every one know that the Giants are the owner of these fields and that they are recruiting workers." Aaron said before sending Jacob on his way.
Now he was left alone with the speechless Orion who still couldn't comprehend what was going on.
The system contract that Orion signed was a little different from the one signed by Jacob. Orion will be in charge of recruiting talented artisanal climbers, each of them will be given 25% of the profit of their work, as 25% will go in the pocket of Jacob as he'll be in charge of selling the goods, and 25% will go to Aaron. In exchange, Aaron will provide the work place, the ingredients or resources that were necessary and even give them a shelter in his guild, as he'll protect them from external pressure. Honestly it was a good deal for Orion as he'll need to do nothing more than work hard and make potions. He could even decide to just focus on training and still be under Aaron protection.
On one side he didn't wanted to be associated and tied with any organisation, but on the other this contract really respected his freedom and even if he was tied by the contrat now, he was still free of his choices. Not thinking on the past anymore, he decided to accept his situation, as Aaron was surely a really strong climber to be able to collect more than 370 thousands gold coins. He was already focusing on the future development of the Guild as he wanted to invite a really close friend of him the moment he reached the resting area, and reunite with his blacksmith brother.
On this day, Aaron secured the strongest and most promising artisanal climbers as the reunion between Orion and Joel will lead all the promising talents to join his guild in the future and form an elite environment for every artisanal climbers. For the freedom of Orion it was another story as only god knew how many crazy situation he'll end up in and how many nights he'll be unable to sleep thanks to Aaron, but that's a story for another time as he casually accepted Aaron invitation to his guild. He was now a Giants guild member and he'll be sure to put this name above all the others.

[Amelia POV]
Amelia was wreaking havoc in the guild office, not only she was angered by the fact that they loosed the opportunity to buy the all the last fields forever, she was in a rage that couldn't be described because the merchants in charge of this matter were spending their golds in the brothel and buying useless things with the money that was supposed to be saved for the auction and the fields. They were fucking unworthy of being a part of the guild in her opinion and were they not under the tower protection she would have dismantled them one after another. She was overbooked the last few days because she was searching someone named Orion as per Allen order in addition of preparing the raid of the 20th primordial tower floor and thus couldn't control everything. Added to the fact that Allen only left the resting area a day ago she really was on edge when this information came in her hears.
"Fucking disgraceful bastards! Even after all he did for you you still manage to mess things up ??" She was talking to herself even if there was someone inside the room with her.
"Go find the ones responsible for this fiasco and put them in isolation, Allen will be in charge of their punishment, and find me something useful about the Giants fucking hell!!" she said while breaking yet another desk, as the one in the room with her rushed outside to execute her command not even daring to make eye contact with her.
[Angela POV]
Angela was a 24 year old woman, she was beautiful, and bore her name well as she had an angelic face, the only thing uncommon with her except her beauty was that she had red hair. She was in fact Allen sister. When her brother explained her what was boon to happen, she thought he was crazy but he gave her something only a returner could know, like the future numbers of the lottery. Honestly she was stunned the moment her brother found out this numbers and gave her the money, he told her to buy a nuclear shelter and train herself for the apocalypse, telling her that she needed to stay behind when the tower will summon them. She trusted her brother since he was everything but a liar. Since the summoning she recruited some person and teamed up to survive because Earth was now full of monsters like goblins. It was only the weakest monsters inside the towers but it was really difficult for civilians to deal with. As the army couldn't keep up with their numbers and society collapsed. The survivors were left with themselves. Luckily she found a reliable team and they managed to save some people together. Today with her team they managed to save a 17 years old boy named Lich. Lich stayed behind to take care of his crippled mother as she couldn't even dream to climb the tower with the legs of her. Although they couldn't save the mother, they still managed to save the boy in the end. It was still a little victory for them as it was rare for them to find survivors and even rarer to save them. She bit her lips when she saw the look on the boy face as she understood what was going inside his head, but she couldn't do anything as she could only pray that the first awakeners will soon arrive on Earth. According to her brother, the firsts normal climbers should clear their tower by the end of the 5th year. He told her that he'll send guild members to protect her but each day was harder than the last one and she didn't know how much time they'll be able to to hold on..
Today she saved someone who should have died in Allen timeline, what seemed like a little victory for her will become a great disaster in the future for Allen and his guild, but it'll take at least half a centuary to discover what todays events will lead to.
