Popov Petrov Antonov

It was night time. Sergeant Popov Petrov Antonov was placing cameras around this area, alone. Why? one of his friends were having a diarrhea, while the others are busy placing cameras in other areas. He was accompanied by his trusty flashlight, installing the camera. The cameras act as a CCTV to monitor the perimeter. While he was installing the cameras, little did he know that there are no drones currently monitoring the area, the village nor sergeant Popov Petrov Antonov. All of the drones were charging their batteries back at HQ. He was all alone, no one could alert if something is lurking in the shadows.

Then he heard shouts from the distance. He saw red lights, but it didn't look stable. He then realized it's a torch! It's the aliens! He immediately turned off his flashlight, and went prone behind a tree. He was so shocked that it took a while before he reported to the squad leader whom was installing cameras in other areas.

"Sir, I think they're armed. " The sergeant whispered through the radio.

"Are you sure?" A voice through the earphone sounded.

"Yes, yes, yes! They bring plenty of weapons! I can see an axe, and.... Ooooo a scythe!"

"Do not engage, monitor them. I will report to base"

"But sir, they're 10 meters away from me!"

Hearing this, the radio turned dead silent.

"Blyat." He silently muttered.

His uniform was camouflaged which stood a chance not being spotted. But his helmet was not. It was blue, eye catching and had a 'UN' writing on it. He immediately took of his helmet, buckled the chin strap on his arm, and waited. But to his demise, one of the villagers was nearing him. The villagers brought torches which illuminate the surroundings. As the gap shortened, sergeant Popov Petrov Antonov was sweating balls. He was told not to engage, and it was a good reason not to. He don't want to alarm the entire village, because if he fire his AK, surely the echo would reach the village.

"Blyat, blyat, BLYAT!" The sergeant shouted.

Usalak, a carpenter from the village was a good friend to Barok. When he heard that Barok went missing, he was determined to find him. He at first volunteered to search at the west of the village for days, which made no result. Now the team are trying their luck and headed east.

He and the other villagers were walking in the forest. Skimming the area, searching signs or remains of Barok. When suddenly one of the villagers pointed out a blue light source in the distance.

"Barok? Is that you? We're here! Come!" Usalak shouted from the distance. But then the blue light suddenly vanished. The villagers seems surprised.

"Barok? Where are you?" Then the villagers approached the now-off light source.

After approaching the now-off light source for a while, Barok didn't seem to come out which confused the villagers. When they arrived at the now-off light source they saw nothing. So they split up.

As Usalak was skimming the area with his torch, he saw peculiar parts littered on the ground. It was actually the camera, tripod, and antennae which sergeant Popov Petrov Antonov didn't finish install.

"Guys! I found something!" Usalak shouted, which attract the other villagers. He then squatted and analyze one of the peculiar things. It's hard to describe this thing because he had never seen anything like it. Some parts of it was made out of glass, while some sort of cylinder was sticking out.

When the other villagers approaches near the littered parts, suddenly a shout behind a tree could be heard.

"Blyat, blyat, BLYAT!" It sounded very heavy.

When the villagers look to the source of the voice, suddenly a huge shadow stood up from the ground. It was very frightening. Then the shadow ran away while shouting 'Blyat' repeatedly.

The villagers who saw this almost piss their pants. They too were shocked and afraid. Usalak then shouted.

"He must have killed Barok! Chase him down!"

The villagers who snapped out of their shock, nodded and chased the shadow. This time, the blue light appeared again, going further and further.

It made sense that this shadow person was holding the light source, and it explains why when the villagers shouted from the distance, the light source turned off. This person was actually hiding from them! Very fishy!

"Chase the blue light!" Usalak shouted to the villagers and the villagers chased.

Sergeant Popov Petrov Antonov was running for his dear life. He turned on his flash light to illuminate his path so he wouldn't stumble. He rushed pass through the thick forest. He used his trusty radio tracker to guide him to HQ.

"Sir! They're chasing me!" The sergeant screamed through the radio.

"What how?!" The squad leader sounded shocked.

"They were a meter away from me! So I ran."

"How many?"

"I saw 7 of them."

"7? Ok, get to base as fast as possible."

After 10 minutes, sergeant Popov Petrov Antonov almost reached the plains, while the villagers too were still tailing him, exhausted.

After the sergeant emerged out of the forest through the plains, he saw 10 American soldiers, holding their tranquilizer guns.

"Get you're ass here!" an american soldier shouted to the sergeant, and immediately the sergeant went there and rest among them.

"They're here boys! Ready your darts, give them the sleep of their lives!" A soldier shouted, it sounded much heavier and much rougher then sergeant Popov Petrov Antonov.

When the villagers with their exhausted state emerged out of the forest to the plains. They were greeted by weird looking men, aiming a peculiar stick at them. Before they realize, a 'Poof' sound can be repeatedly heard. One by one the villagers shouted in pain before collapsing.

More than 2 days passed by, and the volunteers who went to search for Barok haven't returned yet. The village grew anxious. The village chief seemed to have a headache on how to deal with this situation. Probably a ferocious beast finished Barok and the volunteers he thought. It was clear that this beast was at the east side of the village.

The village chief then ask for volunteers to fight this mysterious beast. The village was actually populous. It had roughly 500 people living there. A massive militia could be organized. In an instant about 80 people, all male volunteered. The village chief ordered the village blacksmith to make 30 spearheads and the local fletcher to make 10 longbows. The rest of them either already owned sword heirlooms or tools fit for combat.

Above them, high-tech drones currently are monitoring the village, they are so high up and so silent that until today, it seemed the villagers somehow haven't noticed the drones yet.

"Sir, it seems that they are arming themselves. Probably to find their missing comrades?" The scientist asked Heinz.

"I can see that. Call all the military delegations and the head of the UN. I want to discuss something." Heinz ordered.

"Understood."

Sergeant Popov Petrov Antonov is currently having a meal with his comrades in the mini cafeteria under a tent. The base are currently filled with tents. It seemed that the engineers have finished studying the area, and buildings will be built some time soon.

The base they were stationed is called 'Base Historia'. It was named Base Historia because it was the first ever military base in history in another world.

Suddenly a bunch of American Military Humvees exited through the portal, not just one or two, but 10 of them. German GTK Boxers too exited the through the portal. Sergeant Popov Petrov Antonov lost count on how many military vehicles exited through the portal, but it doesn't stop there, he saw a familiar vehicle exited through the portal, the Tiger Armored High-Mobility Vehicle!

This sight also shocked the personnel that was on Base Historia. They've never seen such scale of diverse modern military soldiers. This time, they are not wearing any blue helmets nor uniforms issued by the UN. Instead, they respectively used their own military camouflage.

One of sergeant Popov's comrades then approached a fellow Russian soldier whom just exited the portal.

"Comrade, why so many soldiers come here?" Artyom asked.

"Ah hello fellow comrade. Yes, we are tasked to.... take care of the village." Replied the soldier with a calm voice.

"The village? Are you going to kill them?" Artyom was shocked.

"No no no! We are tasked to detain them. The way I see it is we are annexing this village under the UN." The soldier laughed very hard.

Artyom who fell silent for a while then asked again. "When is it?"

"In an hour or so." Replied the soldier.
