this day just gets more and more confusing, first the raid on a suspicious anomaly within UA property finds a random teen instead of a villain hideout, then said child displays impressive powers and intellect easily flipping the situation in their favor despite being completely surrounded by a horde of pro hero's. then they request to meet me to work out the situation, acting as if they are unaware of where they are, an unlikely possibility but a sensible lie to make in such a situation, only to completely throw away said lie when arriving making it abundantly clear they knew who they would meet beforehand, their use of my catchphrase not being enough evidence of this the fact that they seemingly grew cat features in the time it took to arrive making it abundantly clear, and considering their displayed powers so far indicated to some kind of warping ability I can't see the new additions being anything aside from intentional.
luckily they seem to be quite intelligent and understanding of their situation, easily implementing themselves as a party with which I can not take full control of the situation, their displays while possibly being simple coincidence are to perfect and point towards a distinct understanding of the affect every word and the simple way a sentence is worded can have on the minds of others, my opinion of them improves, quite possibly an intentional play on their parts but I would like to imagine them not being malicious, not that that means I wont be sending the audio files to detective Tsukauchi after this, you can never be to careful after all, but the Childs most surprising revelation so far being their admittance to having grown up entirely alone withing the forests of UA, an almost unbelievable assumption, as I struggle to believe none of my systems would never find them, and had they been here as a baby I doubt they would have survived or not been found since they would be unlikely to be able to hide themselves, which means if true they likely lost their memories at an older age, considering their careful wording as "my earliest memory." which I doubt they used on accident considering their perceived intellect.
this opens up multiple disturbing possibilities, either they were abandoned here at an early age, likely just before or after their quirk manifested, and possibly lost their memories in the process, or they lost their memories through a more nefarious means, something to look into later with the help of Tsukauchi, but the child has displayed a desire to stay here, and a willingness to negotiate on the terms, so I will gladly do so, and considering their shown abilities, even if it was just simple warping, a seemingly unlikely possibility again considering the spontaneous appearance of lifelike cat organs like ears and a tail, that also seem to be functional considering the fact that both are moving, the ears moving slightly to noises in the background, and their tail flicking slightly in a seemingly satisfied and relaxed manner as they sip on the tea in their hands, I would love to get them to be a student in UA, this would both allow be to keep and eye on them and prevent the possibility of them becoming a villain, while also guiding their development, as should their story be true, their common sense and ethics are likely quite different from the societal norms.
and the world really doesn't need a powerful warp quirk user running around breaking laws, and the child also just seems quite interesting.
"I'm quite sorry to hear that you grew up alone, and I would be more than willing to have you stay on UA property, I can even set you up with a legal identity and the like if you wish, but I have a few demands."
"go on." they respond, quick and succinct, likely not having any objections so far.
As you probably already know, I am Nezu, the principal of UA, A world renowned hero school and the birthplace of many famous hero's, and considering your promising abilities I would love to have you as a student, all I would need is your agreement, and some information about yourself, and you can become a student here, In exchange I will provide everything you might need, food, water, education, a legal identity, top class housing!"
the child seems to think for a moment, their head tilting slightly as they lean back on the couch in a more comfortable manner, but eventually they nod, adopting a happier tone. "that's very acceptable, in fact I had honestly expected you to want more, and going to the academy should be interesting, so then, what would you like to know, as your already aware I have no name."
"we can deal with that later when we set you up with an identity, for now just tell me about yourself, how old are you? how does your quirk work? and while it might be rude, what exactly is your gender?" I ask, a tad embarrassed by the last question, not being just a question of pronouns but stemming from my inability to pinpoint their gender, their body and voice being a perfect blend of masculine and feminine, leaning to neither side, and the child seems to understand my plight perfectly.
"well going slightly out of order, my body seems to be 14 years old at the moment. and I am genderless, not in the sense that I identify as neither gender, although I do, but I physically lack any of the organs required to qualify as neither, and this is a result of my abilities, as you may have already been able to tell I have the ability to warp things, but it is not so simple, my abilities include spatiokinesis as a whole, not just teleportation." and as I hear his answers I begin to feel a growing sense of unease, depending on the lengths his spatiokinesis can stretch to, his power could be absurd, but they don't seem done yet. "but as you can tell this is not everything, I also have a variety of abilities not commonly considered to be part of spatiokinesis." and I begin to feel a sense of dread.
"I also have the ability to manipulate physical energy, meaning everything from movement to mass, this is also how I grew these beautiful cat ears and tail, and as you can probably tell from that, It allows me to manipulate my body itself, and I have used that ability to change many things about myself, to the point my body is far more synthetic than organic, with the only organ even partially unchanged in my body being my brain, but even that is vastly different to the normal humans, this includes changing my entire body to the point each of my cells is closer to a machine than a living organism, each and every one of them much more powerful than the normal human, a complete replacement of my circulatory system from pumping blood and oxygen to pure energy, and much more, but ill leave those as a surprise for later." and my body begins to tremble, as the possibilities this child's power represents fills me, and I am genuinely glad I managed to find them, and In my fear, I can't help but fear hope, their abilities meaning they might be able to even heal Allmight and so much more, but also meaning they are incredibly dangerous, and as the child continues to talk I can't help but feel more and more awed.
"and as for how much stuff is changed about me, and how I fit everything into the size of a human body, well lets just say spatiokinesis is a VERY versatile power." and confusion fills me for just a moment, wondering what that could mean, till I blanch, my exceedingly powerful mind halting at the realization of the significance behind their words, implying an ability to warp space and time so much as to fit more mass and volume into their body than should exist, and my mind begins to overheat, my body trembling as my tea spills from my cup, and I begin to laugh creepily, evident by the worried looks sent my way by Allmight, and as I sip tea, I cant help but wonder, wonder if the entity in front of me is really human, or if I am in the presence of something higher, something that doesn't belong in this world.
(An, last chapter for today, honestly I'm not super satisfied with the level of quality in these last two chapters, so I might return and change things later, but for now I can't be bothered, also, I know things are going pretty slowly right now, but I wanted to get some world building out of the way before the main story starts, and I'm happy to say that this is pretty much the last of it, maybe one more chapter, but I plan to probably get the story going by the end of the next chapter, so be prepared for that, anyway I need to work on the rest of todays chapters now for my other novels, so hope you enjoyed these two, school finally starts fully tomorrow (as in actual academic classes not the bullshit we've done so far, so depending on how hectic it is I may or may not post tomorrow, we'll see, peace.)
