previously on unexpected travels

As he saw all these games Nathan thought 'it may sound childish but I really want to grow quickly so that I can play these games all day long as he was thinking this the old man looked at him and smiled.

He thought ' well me being here was the right decision it will help take pressure off the young boy.

then the old man took Nathan to the next level it was .....

As they reached the fourth level the old man began to say "well as we exit the elevator we will be reaching 4th level it is the place where mainly all of your team members or who you trust most would be staying" As he said that the doors of the elevator opened.

as the dose opened Nathan saw that it was a huge lounge area where people could hang out with each other there was a bar at the right side and there were also a few games on the left side corner like pool and there was also a roulette table and few other games, there was also a giant TV at the front and they were many different kinds of chairs and sofas in front of the TV.

then the old man continued as Nathan was looking "well young man this is the lounge area where adults can relax and you could modify it in the future but for now it stays"

hearing what the old man was saying Nathan rolled his eyes at him.

the old man then continued by saying "and every chair and sofa set has a hologram projector which a person who is in it can utilize and they is also a visual and sound barrier activate whenever the individual wants it to give them some privacy, but you can upgrade it later in future"

the old man continued by saying "and beside the lounge, they are 100 rooms present on this level 60 are for normal rooms with basic furniture like a bookshelf, a small dining table for 4, a single bed, a washroom, and TV, etc. they can be modified later according to personal preferences of the new residences.

nathan was surprised and asked "why am I going to need those many rooms isn't it just a waste of space and resources to build that many" with a curious look because he also knows that the old man could just build this tough without any problem but still he wanted to know why.

the old man just smile and said "well you don't have to worry about resources wasted, its as easy as snapping your fingers, don't worry about space all around us is enchanted like in Harry Potter where you have space extension charms, but with no limitations"

Nathan's eyebrows perked up and thought 'man this old man is able to do this much with just a snap of his finger, when will I be able to reach his level" Nathan thought with a longing look on his face "I should really work hard or else someone else will pass me and I should also be very caused to because in the whole of Omniverse I can't just be the special one right?'

Aaj Nathan was thinking this the old man just smile and continued.

"and they are also more than 40 rooms below this you could call this level a sub-level of the second level, those are prison cells just below us"

As Nathan heard it he asked in a worried tone "is it safe to have prison right next to where people are going to live I mean what to someone comes a cross the prison or if anyone locked in the present breaks out it may be a huge problem right?" asked Nathan worriedly.

the old man just smile and said "you don't have to worry about that, each cell is strong enough to contain Hulk in them, and also magic, they contain Someone at the level of doctor strange, so if something goes in you don't have to worry about it for a long time. also if you don't have to worry about someone accidentally going into the prison only you and the people you allow can enter, so you don't have to worry about that and you can't give anyone permanent access to the present they only receive single-time access and if they want to go and without you, they have to take your permission everytime or you should be present with them then only someone can go in or out of the prison"

as they were talking they last reached the final 5th level. as the doors of the elevator opened Nztha saw they were in a room, 10 by 10 feet and there was a single door in front of him as the old man was walking towards the door with Nathan he said "well young man this is the final floor of your hidden cave it contains your personal room and everything you would be needing for a long time it also has a supercomputer and an AI which is totally under you you don't have to worry about it going Skynet or Ultron. and this place too just like prison only you can enter and people can't enter without you and in the present at least they could enter with your permission but here you have to be present with them for them to enter and even for you to enter you have to give a retina scan a fingerprint scan and there is also another hidden scanner but I am not going to tell your about it" said the old man with a grin.

Nathan didn't like it and asked with a frown "why are you not telling me that this is going to be my base right I should know as much as possible about it"

seeing that Nathan was clearing at him the old man just pouted and said "As always you are no fun to play young man, well the last one is a soul scanner and not only your soul but also your soul aura. so other than you know one can enter in here even if you are undermining control or any other effects it will not allow you to enter it.

you could control literally everything from here in a way you can say this is the brain of the whole base, another interesting fact is that levels 4 and 5 are both protected with around a foot of Steel if it of cement and a small layer of vibranium from all directions so you don't have to worry about even nuclear missiles hitting this place" as he said that he again with a stoic face said, "but you should worry about the first three floors they are not protected, and for now you can't enter this place I will let you access this final level when your 15 years until then you have access to all other levels, so what do you say about this place you like it or not?"

the old man asked with a smile neither who was listening to the old man said with a smile "well if I have to be honest I don't know what should I see I am really grateful for your help and I could see if I wanted to build this place myself it would have taken me a lot of work and fit so thank you very much for your help and support and believing in me, I will not break your trust"

the old man just cooed and said "you look so cute when you try to act all serious, awww" as the old man was talking he bought his index finger near Nathan's face to poke his cheek.

and Nathan as a self-respected baby did what any other baby would do he quickly opened his mouth and try to bite on the finger of the old man, not realizing that he doesn't have any teeth.

the old man seeing this smile and acted like he was hurt "ouch! that really hurt me, you little devil"

the old man said as they enter the elevator and left.

as they were going back up the old man said "yes young man don't forget I will be here to help you out in your adventure and from now on just call me Alfred or old man is also fine, but don't tell anyone or else i will act like I don't know anything" said the old man with a grin, and Nathan just rolled his eyes.

As Nathan was still in a baby's body he didn't have a lot of energy and as they reached the top Nathan quickly fell asleep when they came out of the elevated the old man said "well, done with that, what do you say a young man in and out, just 20 minutes adventure" and a green portal opened behind the old man, the old man with a grin, he looked at Nathan.

but when he looked at him he sighed as Nathan was sound asleep he just smile and said: "well sleep it is, then."

then he snapped and the portal behind him vanished.

then the old man took Nathan back to his room and after setting him down and covering him with a blanket, he smiled and said "sleep tight little one, you have a lot of work to do to grow as strong as me and make me proud" as he said it his chest puffed with pride. he then quickly arranged himself and changed his accent to his old Alfred self and closed the door and went away. to do his own work of keeping the house nice and proper.
