Autumns warm and breezy, not cold

all day in work all i could do was thing about her, her smile, her beautiful curves i wanted to be with her now, i text her.

i waited, 10, 20, 30 minutes. no answer. 7:30pm, i got off at nine. 2 hours and still no answer. i had my break and went out back for a smoke.

there was a small pub out the back of my work and i was looking at the blossom trees, i thought autumn would like those. just then a familiar voice shouted out,

"oh lucas look at the blossom trees".

i peered over to see autumn holding a boys hand pointing at the trees. she had that same smile on her face, she did that same little giggle.

i stood there watching as they talked, they might just be friends i thought to myself, until he kissed her. and she kissed him back, she kissed him back like she kissed me back. i could take it i called her.

i watched her pull out her phone, look at her screen and bite her lip. i smirked, she answered.

"dolly what's up".

"nothing babe just on my break, thinking about you, what you doing?"

"oh nothing just getting some food with a friend".

"are you close i finish in an hour could see you for a bit."

"yeh i am close just round the backs actually,call me when you get off"

"will do, love you beautiful"

"love u too my doll"

i had nothing to worry about. i hoped. i looked at her face as she ended the phone she laughed, leaned over and kissed him.

"just a friend? i heard him laugh"

"oh shutup," she replied

"who was it then, someone you loveee?"

"to be honest lucas she's my world, me and u were just us but her id give the world to be her girl.

i stared at her as she pulled her phone of her pocket, she smiled a smile i've only seen one before, when her baby brother was born. she stood up and left lucas alone. shit she was coming here. i ran back inside to my desk, id been out fucking ages.

the doors swung opend just as i got to the front of the shop.

"dolly!"

"autumn, babe"

"i've always been your girl"

"and i'll always be yours"

she leaned over the counter to kiss me,

"how long till your off?"

"10 minutes"

"can i wait"

"of corse you can love come here you can sit on my chair"

we sat and talked and ate snacks from behind the counter for those ten minutes because nobody came in. i asked lauren to lock up and we left.

we went to a pizza place and talked for about an hour before i dropped her off home. i went home and went to bed happy.
