CHAPTER FIVE: IS HE MAD OR SOMETHING!!!!!

Kelly POV

I left work on time today, in fact I left way too early than usual just because Tony forced me to go to a party with him claiming that he was going to feel lonely if he goes alone, such a baby.

But I wonder how the manager allowed us to leave earlier than our closure hour, I wonder what Tony did and how he was able to pull it off.

But what I don’t know is if my dad was going to be as nice as my boss by letting me go to the party with Tony.

I just don't know if my dad was going to let me because they never allow me to go to any party except family outings and that of our close family friends and they don’t allow me to go anywhere during the night and I don't know why.

I boarded a taxi back home, once I got home, I walked into the house, when I didn’t find anyone in sight, I walked straight to my room and freshened up.

I went downstairs and entered the kitchen, cooked a simple dish and ate to my satisfaction.

After washing the dishes, I went to the living room and turned on kiddie’s network, just then my mom entered.

“Hey mom” I said as I stood up and helped her with the grocery bags that she was holding.

“Hey princess, how was work today?” She asked.

“It hasn’t been in anyway better than this” I replied.

“But why are you home on time today? What happened? Were you fired?” She asked in haste.

“Mom, please, chill, I wasn’t fired or anything, I was just given a little off time by my boss, and do you know why?” I asked as I stared at her face waiting for her outburst.

“Why?” She asked.

“I and Tony are going to a party by 8pm!!! Whoa!!” I screamed in excitement.

“You are not going anywhere” She bluntly said as she made her way into the kitchen.

“Mom, like seriously, I don’t understand, why can’t you and dad allow me out at night even if it is once, why? You guys don’t allow me to live a normal life, always shielding me as if something was going to come out of nowhere and take me away from you guys” I said with hurt visible in my tone.

“Baby, it’s not like that” She said as she trued defending herself.

“It’s not like what? Then tell me what it looks like, you don’t behave like that towards Louis, what is the reason for all that? You always give him the freedom that he wishes for, why is it like that mom?” I asked her, though they give me all the love and care in the world, they always lock me in like a bird.

“You won’t understand, my love” She replied.

“Then make me understand mom, I want to understand, am tired of being in the house all the time” I said as I held her hands.

“The answer is still no Kelly, now go to your room” She said as she went upstairs.

I screamed out in frustration as I ran into my room and banged the door loudly behind me then bolted it.

Few minutes later, I heard some soft knocks, but I refused to open the door, just then my dad voice echoed into the room.

“Baby, open up, it’s me” I scoffed as I held my pillow to myself.

“Go away, I don’t want to see anybody especially mom and the person behind the door” I replied.

“Come on, cupcake, don’t act like that, open the door and let’s talk and settle things” He said as he knocked again, gosh he’s so persistent.

I groaned as I stood up from the bed and opened the door then I walked back to the bed, totally ignoring him.

“Sweetheart, I know that you are annoyed at me and your mom but we are only doing that for you own good interest” He started as he sat beside me on the bed.

“And what may those interests be?” I asked.

“Do you know that there was a demon that was sent to get you?” He asked and my eyes widened in horror.

A demon to get me? What was my offence? “What did I do to them that they had to send a demon to get me? I asked him.

But only he laughed at the face that I made but that only made me frown very deeply.

“Hold on, don’t tell me that you actually believed that?” He asked amidst laughter.

“And why wouldn’t I, who wouldn’t have believed you? With how serious you looked, jeez dad, you actually almost gave me a heart attack” I replied as I held my throbbing chest.

“Sorry dear, I was just pulling your legs, we are just doing that to keep you safe, no one knows what might be lurking out there in the dark, that is why we don’t let you out of the house at night because we believe that you would be more safer here in the house, as for your brother, Louis is a man and he can take good care of himself but you are a girl and you don’t have a boyfriend who can protect you” He said and I reasoned with him and I guess that he is right.

“No need to have a boyfriend dad since I have you” I stated as I hugged him.

“I know but it would be much better if you had a boyfriend” He replied.

I quickly dropped the topic since it was clear that I was going to lose the argument anyways.

“Dad” I drawled as I moved close to him.

“Yes, honey pie, what is it that you want?” He asked.

“Can I please go to the party, Tony will be there, please” I begged him with pleading eyes.

“Of course you can” He replied, I jumped up in happiness as hugged him but my celebration was cut short when he said.

“But only on one condition?”

“Which is?” I replied as I stared at him suspiciously.

“Louis will be going with you” He responded.

“Wait, what? What do you mean by that, why would Louis follow me, Tony will be there and he will be able to protect me” I defended as I folded my hands against my chest.

“I know but I trust Louis more, and I will be assured that you are in safer hands” He replied.

I was a little bit uncomfortable with it but I was left with no other option than to accept the condition if I really want to leave the house.

“Okay, dad, no problem, I accept” I replied as I escorted him out of my room.

“That’s good, take good care of yourself and be a good girl” He reminded me and I nodded my head at his instructions, he hugged me and went to his room.

I immediately ran to my room in excitement and ransacked my whole wardrobe for the most suitable dress to wear to a night party.

I later on settled on a spaghetti strapped body hug gown which almost reached my mid thigh, and it was black and I so, so, so much loved it.

“Now, things are falling in to place” I muttered excitedly to myself.

I decided to dress to kill, because I want all eyes on me, I want everybody to treat me like a goddess who I know that I am.

Then I picked up a medium heeled shoe incase if I want to dance like crazy, what was I even saying, I know that I am going to dance like crazy, my dance skills mustn’t go to waste, I thought as I giggled silently to myself.

Then I choose a black purse with silver jewels, for accessories, I decided to go silver so as to match my hair color, then I rushed into the bathroom to freshen up.

Moments later, I wore the dress and the other accessories and what was remaining was my makeup, so I decided to apply light but dark make up. I looked at my reflection in the mirror then I winked at it and I was good to go.

Immediately I stepped in to the living room and Louis saw me, his mouth hung open "There is no absolute way that am letting my kid sister go out like this" He said in disapproval.

Judging with the way that he was dressed, I guess dad must have informed him, and I must say, he was looking stunning but I can’t possibly say that to his hearing or that would possibly be the end of me.

"And who asked for your consent? I love my dress; I look fabulous in it and am changing it for no body" I replied as I walked out to his car.

I waited for him to open the door for me but he only smirked at me and walked over to the other side of the car.

“Louis, won’t you open the door for me and behave like the perfect gentleman which you aren’t for once” I said as I frowned.

“Haaa!! Why would I? And what do I look like to you? Your Boyfriend? Better open the door by yourself, judging from what am seeing, your hands are perfectly okay, but you can choose to stay out there looking around with those foggy eyes of yours” He said as he sat at the driver's seat.

“You are so unbelievable” I muttered as I opened the door and settled down properly.

“Am glad you know” He replied.

I scoffed lowly as I glared at him, so full of himself “Just behave yourself, when we get there” He said as he held the steering wheel but he haven’t started the car.

“Why are telling me that? As my what? I would behave as I want, so quit ordering me around” I replied.

“Am just saying that because I don’t want those ugly looking guys gawking at you, okay, so behave and I don’t know why you had to dress like this” He said.

“I don’t know why my dress is bothering you like this, please start the car and let us get the heck out of here”.

"If that’s how you are going to put it, then don't you dare leave my sight or else" He threatened while staring at me with those bulgy eyes of his.

"Okay boyfriend, I have heard you" I replied as I was already tired of his bickering.

"Now can we go?" I asked in already getting impatient.

"Yes we can" He replied still murmuring distastefully about how I had dressed to himself. Such an awkward behaving brother.

Immediately we got to the location of the party, I alighted from the car and noticed that it was a club, what the? How could Tony invite me to a club? Am sure going to skin him alive?

"Wait a sec! Is this the location of the party that you told mom and dad that you wanted to attend? You are so dead when we get home" Louis said to me in surprise

I too am equally surprised and mom and dad must not hear about this and before I could answer, I heard Tony shouting my name.

"Kel! Kel!! Over here!!!" I turned and saw him, he ran towards me and gasped out in shock when he noticed the way that I was dressed, what is wrong with everybody, haven’t they seen a beautiful lady before?

"Wow, I never knew that you were this pretty, gosh, am very sure that there is no fucking way that you are leaving here without getting a boyfriend, am absolutely sure" He said.

"But you never told me that the location of the party was a club" I said as I turned to him in anger.

"Ohh!! That, well I forgot, I knew that I was forgetting something but I never knew what, please forgive me Kel, am so sorry" He pleaded.

"I know that you did it on purpose cause you knew that I would never come, in fact I and my brother are leaving now" I replied as I dragged Louis back towards the car.

“Kel, please am sorry, don’t go. Okay! Okay! You got me there, I lied, because I knew that there is no way that you would have come if you had knew where the party was going to take place” He pleaded as he held my hands.

“Okay, I forgive you but only on one condition” I said as I stared at him.

“Anything Kel, anything” He replied.

“You will cover up for me during my shift tomorrow” I stated.

“NO problem, hope am forgiven?” He asked.

“Totally” I replied.

"Well, what can we do about it, let us go inside, Tony! Where is your sister?" Louis asked.

"Inside, why?" Tony responded.

"Nothing" He replied.

Just then something strange happened, the moon came out but it was not its normal whitish blue but red, deep red, what the heck is happening?

"Gosh! Kel are you seeing this! A red moon, my grandchildren must see this" Louis squealed in excitement, what an idiot, his grandchildren when he doesn’t even have a child, a total waste of cuteness, he took several shots and videos of it, then we went in to the club.

Immediately we stepped into the club, heads turned towards our direction as the guys were staring at me, now this is what I called making an entrance, I thought as I flaunted my hair in pride.

“Are you seeing why I told you to dress like a nun” Louis whispered as we walked further into the club.

“Come on, be happy for me, am the queen of the night, and besides they can’t do more than to look” I said as I shrugged my shoulders.

"Tony, okay, what part of this place is the party going on?" I asked.

"Over there" He pointed at a dimmed and secluded place filled with people dancing, drinking, smoking and some were even making out, my eyes nearly popped out of their socket when I saw some set of couple having sex! In public!! Gosh!!! They have no single iota of shame.

"Tony, is your sister also there?" Louis asked.

"Yeah, there he is, but why is she with Jake" He replied.

Louis appeared hurt when he spotted her kissing a certain guy, I never knew that his sister was this loose.

"Well sorry Tony, I and my brother can't stay there with those shameless people, we will find a better spot to stay" With that said, I dragged Louis away and we went to sit at the bar.

"Lulu, it is okay, don't take it to heart, I know that you like her even though you don’t admit it but sorry that she is such a bitch and she doesn’t deserve you because I never knew that she was this loose" I said as I tried consoling him.

"I loved her or so I thought, you know that ever since the day I first laid eyes on her, I fell for her but she turned me down, I was so hurt and kept on trying but she kept on turning me down until the day she told me that she had accepted me, I was happy but my hope just got bashed today, I don’t know why am so unlucky with love" He said as he ordered for a shot.

“Don’t worry, you will soon get your miss right beside you, okay” I said as I ordered for one too, we had taken close to four shots when I whispered into his ear.

"Why don't we sing and later on dance like crazy" He nodded his head in agreement. Then we went on stage, collected two microphones and started singing 'Attention by Charlie Puth'.

After singing, everyone stood up and clapped for us while we did a dramatic bow and went over to the dance floor and joined the people who were already dancing and we started dancing like couples, we danced to the extent that people left the dance floor for us.

But I don't mind, I just want to do this so as to get Louis's mind off her, we kept dancing sensually until someone dragged me away from Louis and punched him hard, I turned to give the person a piece of my mind when it turned out to be that rude guy, I gritted my teeth together in anger and slapped him immediately. IS HE CRAZY OR SOMETHING!!!
