Deku POV

It took days but we did finally finish vetting Hawks. He is a fool but only a love sick fool. He did not willingly give information to the L.O.V. he just wanted to see his boyfriend who happened to be a part of it. The fact that Dabi had no further interest in being a part of the League was very interesting though.

We took him to a park but didn't hang him up. We just sat around waiting for the pro to wake up and when he did he started freaking out. When he managed to calm himself down, Two started talking.

"Welcome back to the land of the living. Can't say we have actually had anyone volunteer before but you passed for the most part." Two groaned as I kissed on his neck from my place in his lap. We were sitting under a cherry tree and I swear I could see some green buds sneaking out a little early. Maybe we are going to have an early spring this year?

I purred snuggling into Two's neck happy with where we were and that I was with him. I could see Hawks flinch at his words though. He pulled up his shirt and saw the finished mark on his side, but there were no other signs that we had literally cut into him at all.

"I don't understand?" He looked at us confused, while I sat in Two's lap his legs crossed behind me. I turned in my seat so I was facing Two now and my legs wrapped around his back.

Two let me get comfortable before answering him, "It is what it is. You technically passed, in fact you did it the same way Three did so congrats man. Most people die from that." I saw a shiver run through the hero at that. I continued to purr in Two's lap snuggling into his arms as I did.

"But you have a fatal flaw, so unless you fix it we cannot take you." Two added after a few moments of silence.

"What flaw?" Hawks looked absolutely shocked. I guess he never considered that he could fail our test when he agreed to take it.

"Dabi," Two answered and I hummed in agreement. I saw Hawks open his mouth to argue but I growled, getting his attention and stopping him so that Two could go on.

"Having a boyfriend is not a bad thing, obviously," he motioned towards me and I stretched up and kissed him on the lips, stealing his attention for a few precious moments. Hawks ended up clearing his throat getting our attention again.

"Look if you really want to join then Dabi would have to as well. You are too in love with him to lie to him. So there you have it." Two smiled sadly before cuddling into my arms and kissing on my neck. I let a few sweet low moans out from the affection and giggled a little when he shook his head lightly tickling me.

"That's all?" Hawks asked relieved, wow okay then. He has a massive ego, good to know, but I guess he has been around Endeavor a lot for him to not have one. I nod my head. Two still busy with my neck to bother answering.

"Then let me call him!" He pulled out his phone and called.

"Hey babe, I passed! But they say I love you too much to lie to you." There was a pause and then, "Yeah but they said I could join if you did too."

Silence, a long silence as Hawks listened to his phone before he turned to us. "Would next weekend be okay? He said that he was too busy this week." I blinked, not expecting that. Dabi wants to join us? I nod slowly. Two was still laying his head on my shoulder but had stopped kissing on me. This was a shock. We had expected that he would just fly off a bit sore and we wouldn't see him again until we took him to trial for aiding and abetting a villian.

"Yeah babe, they said that will work out great!" … "Yeah I know. I hope yours finishes before our anniversary too. February 1st is coming up really fast isn't it? So I was thinking we could-" … "Right, no you're right they are still sitting here. I'm sorry."

We eventually went our separate ways and I pulled out my phone and pulled up my chat with god.

One: Dabi wants to join too.

god: VERY interesting. ...

god: Let's see where this goes shall we?  If we are lucky this will speed things along considerably.

One: I agree but I have to wonder if we are biting off more than we can chew.

god: I understand. Just use the throw away base again and in the worst case scenario we get a core member to come willingly to the table.

One: If this works…

god: If this works we could even get his crimes pardoned. Or at least reduced. Considering who his father is will also have a huge impact on the end result.

One: He said next weekend so Two and I won't be able to help you know who with you know what.

god: I'm sure he will be more than happy knowing that you are actively saving an innocent.

One: Understood.

I put away my phone and cuddle into Two's arms, we have a lot of work coming our way.

"One, we should tell Sandman we won't be available for a few days. We can't get sick, we can't afford to," Two sighed nuzzling into my hair. I nod purring as I do, before pulling out my phone and telling Sandman just that.

Sandman: … Stay safe, healthy and keep me INFORMED!

I chuckle and show the message to Two before replying that I would and putting my phone away again. This is going to be a long week.

"I hate Endeavor! All he ever did was torture us, how can heroes actually be any good if the number 2 hero was like that?" Dabi screamed in agony. We have been torturing him for days now, much longer than we expected but he keeps giving more and more information and, so far at least, he has been passing our test. He hasn't lied once and unfortunately some of the things he has told us would have put more than a few heroes on our table.

Would have...

On our third day we cut the recording and sent it to Eraserhead giving us all a much needed break. It does however pose a new issue; we have to erase his memories when we do that and then it's almost like starting over again. It only takes an hour or so to get caught back up to his pain threshold but still.

I don't enjoy torturing him. I do however kind of feel bad for Hawk, Dabi was only using him to make sure his family was safe from Endeavor and now that he isn't needed anymore he was only dating him out of pity. He just doesn't know how to break up with him, not a can of worms I'm interested in opening, thanks.

He collapsed back on the table again finally out of things to say and while we let him catch his breath we knocked him out and Two called god.

"I already spoke with Sandman, give him the offer." He hung up without even letting Two say anything. I look at Two and nod my head and we heal Dabi, it took more than a few minutes of his screams before his body relaxed again. I can't help noticing that the majority of his burns and scared flesh had healed but not nearly all of it.

I pointed it out to Two who nodded already knowing what I wanted to do. I want to heal him but he needs time to rest first. I cuddled Two in a recliner who was just relieved at this point to finally be done. I nuzzled into his neck and we fell asleep cuddled there, Dabi still cuffed to the table and Two flipped the light switch off so we could take a much needed nap.
