Chapter 21

“So now what?” Roger asked.

Before they could say anything, Jojo’s phone beeped. Jojo pressed the button. “Yes?”

“Sir, your sister is on the line,” a female voice said.

“All right, please put her through,” Jojo said, punching in the speakerphone when the call transferred.

“Hey, brother! It’s your favorite sister!”

“Well, that’s easy, because you’re my only sister,” Jojo said, his voice a little rushed. “Is your flight on time? Roger’s here if you were looking for him.”

“I was. They told me he was with you and I said, let me talk to my brother then. So my flight’s on time and I leave Narita airport in a couple of hours. Luckily, I caught a nap on the flight from Frankfurt. What are you guys doing right now?”

“We caught a mistake in one of our building projects, and we’re about to contact the sub in Japan. Your Japanese is better than mine, so it’s too bad you’re not here to talk to the electrical engineer.”
