Right Choice

"You have got to be kidding me" Kancial whispered.

"That's the only place that's hidden here so I am not kidding you" Raven says and Kancial narrows his eyes at her.

"Honey? Are you in there?" Golsie's tune is sounding impatient.

"Umm... Yeah, Mum. I'm coming" with that and struggling, Raven pushed the three men into the wooden closet and closed it, locking it with a lock that is hanging in one of the holes.

Kancial took a deep breath, inhaling the scent of her clothes. The Demon that winked at her earlier stared at the hanging clothes of hers in the closet.

And by clothes, you know what I mean.

Raven opens the door for her mum and stepped back in respect for her mum to enter.

"Mum? What's wrong?" Raven asks with concern. The look on her mother's face is disturbing and it makes her to look older than she really is.

Is something wrong with her?

"Honey... Your Father is bringing in the strongest Demons in Hasma for you to pick as your husband and... "

Raven's world stopped shortly after the mention of "Your Husband". If this is how she will be treating her own daughter when her time for marriage is due, then it's better for her to be a single and die single. She can't just be disturbing and forcing marriage on a child that knows nothing about it!

"He is serious, Raven. He is very serious" Golsie says and Raven stares down at the ground.

If these men can make her forced up life to be much more easier with what they have said, then no problem. She will follow them and get her ass outta here.

"Be down in ten minutes. I will send some maids to come and help you dress up-"

"I don't need them. They will see me for who I am first" Raven whisper and Golsie nods and kiss her forehead.

After a brief stare, she walks out of the girl's room and closed the door behind her.

Raven fell on her knees with her red hair covering her eyes and her wings held tightly to her back. When she let go of her wings and the anger that is in her, they will know that the princess that they're about to place as a Queen and as a marriage material is sure a ruthless human being... Oops, sorry, Demon. Because she will make sure that the men that molested her, teased her, and made her feel like she's a different piece of junk, the men that proposed to her on-air making her think that she's insulted... All of them mocked her in one way or the other...

She will... And she must... See their heads in the display center of Hasma.

And even the heavens will rejoice gladly.

"Ummm.... I'm just saying Princess, we are still in your clothes room" One of the men say and Raven quickly came back to her senses.

She stood up and walked to the closet and opened it.

Kancial walk out of it in Royalty with his head held high and the other guys followed suite. The Demon that raised his brows gave her the bra he stood behind while they were in the closet and mouthed "Sorry, I don't know how to hang it"

Raven narrows her eyes at him and hanged it back where it was and closed the doors.

"Do you like the way they are talking because of marriage?" Kancial asks and Raven held the handle of the closet without turning to face them.

Is he trying to make her give in by that means?

If that's his plan... Then... Then...

She doesn't even know how to place it. If that's his plan then it is surely working because she just wants to be free.

"You're different. You don't have black wings. None of the demons have red hair and-"

"Are you also Demons?" Raven asks, now facing them.

Kancial smiles widely. His smile isn't genuine and it's not matching the question she asked some moments ago.

The smile is a confusing one and it's a stubborn one too.

What is he planning in that small head of his?

"No. We are Angels. Sent down to the earth to bring forth the daughter of Xuvicer... "

Raven's eyes widened.

"You're Raven, aren't you?"

Raven's heart stopped beating and for almost one full minute she stopped breathing.

Angels? Xuvicer? Me?

In the study of Xuvicer are eight men. Huge Demons that have found interest in the white winged demon and have come to see and ask for her hand in marriage.

Xuvicer already has the mentality that his daughter must choose from one of these demons and if she doesn't, he will select for her.

"Your daughter is a strict girl, Xuvicer. Will she be okay with choosing one of us?" a demon with red eyes, black hair, and wings ask, surveying Xuvicer's expression before he answers.

"Of course. Why won't she be okay with choosing one of the most prominent demons in Hasma? She-"

"But we heard that she declined the marriage proposal on air. Don't she know that is respect? For a demon to propose on thin air, that isn't a joke" another Demon says and Xuvicer calm expression became, even more, calmer and gentle.

If these men try anything stupid in his presence he will send every one of them back to the abyss to go and meet the devil. After all, he's just the head of the demons.

"She will choose from one of you. Take it as it is"

Loy, who is among the men took a deep breath because the possibility of her choosing him is 99.9999% more than the others because she knows him and their close friends so she might choose him.

In fact, the might is will. She will choose him.

But maybe fate has other plans.

"What do you say, Raven? Are you coming with us?" Kancial asks for the last time in anger but patience and calmness.

Raven's head is hot and it feels like it wants to explode!

If she goes to heaven with these Angels, that they call themselves, she won't see her parents.

And she doesn't even want to because the pressure and disturbance about marriage is something else, really.

She really wants to go and at the same time doesn't. Her parents can wage war against the heavens because of her.

'But remember... I don't want to marry anyone I don't love

With the anger of choosing men from a place that she knows nothing of, she voices out with boldness.

"I am coming with you"

"Yes! Woo-hoo!" the guy with that winked at her yell and the other one joined in to celebrate.

Kancial just stared at her with a plain face and a faint smile.

She smiled at him and he returned it with a nod and that same smile.

Seems like she made the right choice.
