James had to shake off Kason's men and took a long detour. He could reach the next town in a few hours by walking, but he took Kara for a day.

The town they arrived in was quite big, and the two walked around. There was a big hospital and several small clinics.

The first thing James did was to go around the hospital and find a place to wait for Noah, hoping that Noah could come.

However, they waited for another night, but Noah did not show up. It was likely that he would never come.

James could not help but feel a little sad, but he had to take care of Kara. He was not in the mood to think too much. He wanted to find a way to contact Corey and ask about Nolan and John.

James wanted to take Kara to a big hospital for a check-up, but the big hospitals would leave a record, so he could only go to a small clinic.

Moreover, Kara thought of something serious. Getting treated in a clinic would cost money, right?
