" I'm sorry Shogo."

Rain said to his future son as he approached him and Jubilee,

" Dad?"

Shogo asked as he and the Present-day version of Jubilee looked at the young man approaching them.

" Is it okay if I join you?"

Justin asked.

Jubilee turned to look at her future son. She thought about it for a second and turned back to Justin with an answer.

" Yes, please."

Jubilee answered

" Son. I'm sorry I couldn't save her."

Justin looked his future son in his eyes and apologized.

" You tried your best dad. And you comforted her until the end. My mother died happy."

Shogo explained to his dad.

" I know you can't tell me any details. But was I good to you two?"

Justin asked his son.

" Yeah, you loved us until the end dad. And we love you."

Shogo said to his dad.

" I love you too son. And I'm proud of you."

Justin said as he hugged the man.

" And you Jubilee. I know we supposedly get together. But I believe in what my brother says. I believe that the future can always be changed. So, even if we do not get together that is fine. But I want to ask your permission to be allowed in Shogo's life. To be his father."

Justin said to Jubilee.

" Of course. I needed a babysitter. And who better than his father. And you're right, I don't really know you much. I do know you are a kind and gentle person. Unlike your brother tremor. So, I don't know if we will end up like our future selves. But even if we don't..."

Jubilee was explaining before Justin pulled her into a hug.

" I know, we'll always be a family. A weird family? Yes. But a family no less."

Justin said as he hugged His son and Jubilee.

" Just thought I'd let you know. I'm a vampire."

Jubilee said to the man.

" Hahaha! A weird family we are. Come on, let's go inside before your mother bursts into flames."

Justin joked as he and Shogo covered the woman as they walked into the institute.

The three walked back inside as it was time for those from the future to return home.

" I look forward to seeing you grow up son. I look forward to teaching you how to fight. I look forward to seeing you off on your first date. I look forward to seeing the great man I know you'll become."

Justin said to his son as he got ready to leave.

" I couldn't have said it better myself."

Jubilee said to her son.

" Take care both of you. I love you mom. I love you dad. So very much."

Shogo said as he hugged both his father and his mother one last time.

Jubilee and Justin saw their son off with their arms around each other, giving the boy a smile as he walked back into his time. Once the future X-men were gone the two looked at each other.

" i don't know what fate has in store for us. But I look forward to facing it with you. All of you."

Justin said to the woman.

" Hmph. Well then, I suggest you get ready for a lot of crap. That seems to be all we go through. HAhaha!"

" Hahahaha!"

Jubilee and Justin both laughed at the woman's words.

" Hey, water boy. We need to talk."

Wolverine said to the young man.

Justin left Jubilee's side and joined the man in conversation.

" Listen here bub. That girl is good. Too damn good for a lot of the shit she goes through. I let you into this school because I believe in the dream of the man who built this place. But know this. If you betray us in anyway. Or if you ever bring harm to Jubilee, I will kill you."

Logan explained to the boy.

" Understood. I plan to give my all to protect my son and his mother. And I will kill anyone who tries to hurt them. I promise you; you won't regret this."

Justin declared to the man.

" I better not."

Wolverine said before walking away.

" What was that about?"

Jubilee asked.

" He wanted to make sure I didn't hurt you. And I won't."

Justin explained.

" I see. Don't worry about Logan. That's just how he is with everyone."

Jubilee explained.

" I see."

Justin responded.

" Want to meet Shogo?"

Jubilee asked.

" Yes, I would like to."

Justin said with a smile on his face.

Jubilee smiled and led the man to her room, where Shogo was sleeping in his crib.

" he's so small."

Justin said as he looked down at the small child.

" Want to hold him?"

Jubilee asked.

" I don't know if I should."

Justin said nervously as he looked down at his son.

" Don't be afraid."

Jubilee said encouraging him to pick the child up.

Justin nodded and picked the child up and held him awkwardly in his arms.

"Hahaha! Not like that. Like this."

Jubilee said as she moved to help the man. She gently guided Justins hands to better help him hold Shogo.

" There."

Jubilee said to the man.

" He! Hey little guy. I'm your daddy. I'm your daddy. Daddy loves you Shogo."

Justin said as he cradled his infant son.

Shogo opened his eyes and looked up at his father. \Justin was shocked, as he had expected the baby to freakout and cry. But instead.

" Hehehe!"

Shogo laughed as he held up his small arms towards Justin.

" He likes you!"

Jubilee said to the man

Jubilee hugged her Justin as he held their son and looked up to see him staring gently into her eyes. Justin repositioned Shogo in his arms and held up one of his hands to the womans face, making her blush.

" Thank you, Jubilation. Thank you so much."

Justin said to the woman.

She brought her hands up to the hand on her face and gently caressed his hand.

It took the two a moment to realize what it was they were doing.

" Uh... Sorry."

Justin replied as he gently moved his hand away from her face.

" No, don't be."

Jubilee said to the man.

" Uwaaah!"

Shogo said as he pointed towards his toys.

' You want to play? You want to play with daddy? Come on let's olay."

Justin yelled as he placed the boy on the floor

Shogo laughed as his daddy tripped and fell on his toys.

" Hahahaha!"

Jubilee laughed as well.

Justin laughed as he brought the toys over to the baby.

Shogo began picking up his blocks excitedly, before looking up at his mother.

" I'll leave you two alone for now."

Jubilee said.

As she turned to leave Shogo started to cry.

" What's wrong Shogo?"

Jubilee asked.

" I think he wants you to stay. And... I think I want you to stay as well."

Justin said to the woman.

She turned around and sat down behind Shogo, sandwiching the baby between Justin and herself.

As soon as she sat down Shogo's cries turned back into laughter.

Jubilee and Justin smiled at each other as Shogo happily played with his parents.
