Introductions

"Hello Grandma and Grandpa" Alex smiled walking into the mansion. Her grandparents were in the living room having tea with her uncles. She could see the documents on the table. They were always talking about business.

"Ria, sweetheart. Your back" they hugged her.

Her uncles noticed Nathan and instantly frowned.

"What is he doing here?" one yelled.

Alex smiled holding Nathan's hand.

"I bought some friends over, hope you don't mind" she said.

"We don't introduce her then," her grandfather said.

"Cynthia, my sister" she pointed at her and she smiled.

"Nice meeting you all, Cynthia White" she nervously said. Not receiving any coldness from them she smiled as they smiled back. They gestured for her to move closer and she obeyed.

"Your beautiful like she said," her grandmother said

"Thank you Mrs Levi" smiled Cynthia.

"Don't mind us and come over when you miss her. She's still your sister even with a new last name" Mr. Levi said.

Cynthia nodded. "Thank you".

"Oh, this is my boyfriend, Roy" Cynthia got up pulling Roy's hand towards the old couple, Roy moved stunned at them.

"Say hi to Grandma and Grandpa" she muttered.

"Huh?" he tried to speak.

Cynthia frowned, "Say hi,"

He turned to them with a smile, they chuckled replying.

Cynthia smiled.

"I didn't know we were introducing boyfriend's" Alex laughed.

"I didn't even know they were dating" muttered Nathan glancing at his friend. Roy avoided his gaze.

"Well since we are introducing boyfriends....." Alex pulled Nathan closer meeting his gaze she smiled, "This is my wonderful handsome boyfriend Nathan" pulling him closer to her parents shadowing Cynthia who pulled back.

"Love say hi," she said to him.

"You haven't aged that much since I saw you. Guess the arrogance is still keeping you both alive" he said.

"Huh?" Alex blinked but her grandparents laughed.

"Yes, we are still alive" they smiled.

He smiled lightly and pulled them away. They took their seat with Alex still in a daze.

"And you George, your not saying anything?" They turned to Mr. Livingston who was whispering something to Rosa. They turned back to the others with surprised looks.

Rosa turned to her daughter and smiled then to the others.

"Alex honey I have something to say... I didn't want to say it so soon but I think this is the best time" she breathed. George holding her hand she took another deep breath and finally revealed the hand she had been hiding since they got back.

"George asked me to marry him...and I said yes" she laughed nervously.

"WHAT?" Alex and Nathan got up, the others seemed shocked too as they looked at the couple.

"Well I guess they take the trophy of the best couple" her uncle chuckled.
