~1~ Golden Shield

Sun was up in the poppy blue sky. Snow color curly big clouds quiet down the loneliness of the sun. The breeze was mingled with the fresh smell of green grass.

I lived there, the small city down the hill. Since I was a ten or twelve-year-old fellow, I used to come to this pot. At first, I wondered that "could there be such a heaven-like place near my rusty dusty city?" But now this is my favorite place.

Although how normal everything was, my heart felt some creepiness. It was like something would happen today. So reluctantly I grabbed my wooden stick and stepped down the hill to go back to the city. At once I had an illusion of a huge sun and a round golden shield around it. I nodded my head and tried to erase the illusion. Then I saw a big goldfish and a bunch of goldfish in a water canal.

After a second sky turned to grey and the breeze started to moan. The trees were like whomping to the rhythm of the breeze. I shakily approached the place I was before and glanced down at the city. Neither the city down nor the sun was up in the sky.

Suddenly thunder occurred without lightning. Its sound shocked me and I fainted.

When I opened my eyes, I was kneeling on the ground and giant three rocks were around me. A knock echoed from one of the rocks and I was expecting that someone would come out from the rock. But it wasn't a person, a round golden shield came out from the rock and it stick to my hand. I groaned and tried to throw it away. Then the golden shield started to glitter and strongly pulled me, way down the hill. I already knew that this road leads to my city.

My teeth gritted because of the coldness. A couple of minutes passed by, and I entered a dark cave. I was wondering where the cave road leads. I observe the cave walls and they were filled with carvings of goldfish. The cavings were too much live. A small water stream started to flow under my foot. The ground became mossy and slippery. Goldfish in the carvings jumped down the water. I was amused by it. I slippered and the water level started to rise. Next minute thousands of goldfish gathered around me. They also were glittering from the golden light of the shield. They began to moan like men, women, and children. I was already losing consciousness. Still, the golden shield was dragging me high speedily down the canal.

Cave ended by a waterfall and I fell. It was like no end to the waterfall. At the very next movement, I was there. The same place where everything began. Three giant rocks were also there. But I feel like the three rocks are staring at me. Then I look up. I was amazed. Cause the rocks were teasing me. They were like half-human rock giants and had no legs.

The golden shield rushed, jumped to the sky, and cut the three heads of giants. The heads fell to the ground and became three small goldfish.

Then the shield started to glitter and glitter until my eyes start to blind from its golden light of it. I could merely see anything. Once I open my eyes I was at the top of the hill, but no giant rocks were there. I thought that it would be another dream of mine and stepped down the hill to go back to the city.

On the way back I thought about what happened. Still, I could feel the wetness of my clothes and hair. Then was that dream a reality?
