Ultimate Pokémon Trainer System: Book 1: Harry Potter

A soul from our world is reborn into the world of Harry Potter, and unlocks the Ultimate Pokémon Trainer System to help him along the way, with his magic and Pokémon at his beck and call, his strength only just starting to show, just how will this soul change the story that so many grew up with. How will he act upon his future knowledge and preconceptions of the world he finds himself in. With a sharp mind and plenty of time to plan, just how will he shake up the story, and how will the magical world react to his Pokémon. Warning: This will become a harem fic later down the line, as was voted upon by my followers on Twitter. However I am limiting the girls currently to only three for now, and any mature content will not happen for a long time yet as the characters are still far too young for that sort of thing. However the list of girls will grow in the future as I have big plans for things much further down the line, but I will not be revealing them just yet Series: Book 1: Harry Potter Book 2: ???

-.-.-Chapter 9-.-.-

I let myself fall back on my bed with a sigh of contentment. After my parents and I had returned from my Pokémon home space, as my mum had wanted, we continued with our original plans for our day out.

First we had gone shopping for gifts for a few hours, my mum picking out several new outfits for me as her birthday gift, while my dad had said he would wait until we went to Diagon alley tomorrow. He wanted to see what the magical world had to offer and decided if he wanted to get me something magical as his gift which I was okay with.

After that it was near enough lunch time so we had gotten sandwiches and drinks at a shop to tide us over for the time being.

Then we went to a local cinema and bowling alley for a few hours before getting a Chinese takeaway for dinner, not something my mum allowed very often but it was a special occasion.

It was nearly nine o'clock when we got home, but it had been a blast, a perfect day really even with the surprise start.

It had all helped me to take my mind off of the veritable shit storm or maelstrom that was going to be, or possibly be, coming my way in the future.

As it stood right now I didn't even know if I was in the canon timeline or not. What really had me worried was that if this was one of those alternate timelines I had read in FanFictions. One of those where Dumbledore was actually a secret dark lord, manipulating things from the shadows.

I know I had mentioned the possibility to my parents of him being just a well meaning but failing old man, but what if it was actually the opposite. What if all of his so called mistakes were actually intentional and malicious in order to achieve his goals, whatever they were.

If he really was the master twinkly eye mind raping manipulator that many FanFictions made him out to me, I was absolutely screwed no if or buts.

A small part of me wanted to say screw it and not even go to Hogwarts, just make a beeline right for Diagon Alley, buy up all the books I could, then take my parents and spend the next six years in Pokémon home self studying until it all blew over. That would be the smart thing to do, but I also saw it as the coward's way out. Though I would do it in a heartbeat if I knew there was no other option left to me.

I knew that with my system I had a hidden ace up my sleeve, but what use would my system be if Dumbledore was able to read my mind and find out about it the second I catch his eye, both physically and metaphorically, which I inevitably would.

If that happened while I was at Hogwarts then all I would be able to do is hide in Pokémon home, but if I did that then I'd be leaving my parents defenseless when the headmaster came to question them after the fact.

My other option was to play dumb, I don't think that would last, eventually I would slip up and then all it would take would be one glance and all my secrets would be known to him. I'd just have to be extremely careful until I know just what the situation is.

Whatever the situation would be, I knew that I needed to do everything I could in order to prepare for the worst and hope for the best outcome.

Sitting up on my bed I immediately got to my feet and went over to my wardrobe and took out my sports bag and began to fish out things from it, my single wooden Nunchaku and my two Tonfas. I had learned to use both styles of weapons during my karate lessons along with a bo staff but sadly my last one broke last week during practice and I hadn't gotten around to replacing it just yet.

I fished both weapons out of my bag along with one of my spare karate Obi (sash/belt) and tied it around my waist pushing my weapons into it to hold them for me. If I was going to go dungeon crawling I'd need these. I might have Cyndaquil as my Pokémon but I also had stats of my own. I was betting that meant I was going to be fair game to be attacked by whatever mobs that spawned.

Once I was sure I was prepared I went over to my desk and wrote a short note to let my parents know in case they came to my room while I was gone. Though I wasn't really worried about that happening, it was just a precaution, due to me going through my settings earlier I had changed the time scale ratio for dungeons to run at 5/1. Meaning that for every five minutes or hours I spent in there only one hour or minute would pass in the real world.

Leaving the note for my parents on my pillow as a precaution I opened my system and called out Cyndaquil's Pokéball tossing it to the floor to call him out.

"Alright little buddy have fun?" I asked, smiling down at him.

"Cyn," he cried back in response, nodding his little head in the affirmative.

"Good, I hope you still have some energy left because I was planning to go dungeon crawling to get some training in. You game?" I asked as I knelt down to him.

"Cyn-da, Cyn" was the reply I got back as he jumped up into my chest for me to catch.

"I'll take that as a yes," I chuckled as I stood up with him.

"Let's see what we have to work with," I idly mused as I opened up the dungeons menu only to blink, "well that's not very helpful"

There was only one dungeon listed, and it was just called "Dungeon one".

'I was hoping that it would at least give me a hint as to what we'd be facing' I thought to myself only for another screen to pop up in response to my thoughts.

{Dungeon names are withheld to prevent spoilers before you enter them, as each dungeon is complete the next shall be added to the list for access, Expert mode will also be unlocked, once Expert mode has been completed the dungeon will be available to allow your Pokémon to train inside without you}

I frowned reading that, 'I see, so I'll need to be sure to over prepare when I enter a dungeon for the first time, and expert mode sounds like a real pain but unlocking a dungeon for my Pokémon to grind in will be a massive boon that I'll need especially when I'm at Hogwarts'

Nodding I knew there was nothing else for it I'd just have to hope I was prepared enough, before mentally hitting the first dungeon enter button as both I and Cyndaquil disappeared from my bedroom.
