Chapter 4

In the Hokage's office, team 7 and Karin were called into the office for an emergency mission.

"yesterday the Kazekage was kidnapped by two people from the Akatsuki"

"What Gaara was kidnapped?"

"Yes, I will be assigning this mission to your team together with Karin" Tsunade explains "you will be sent to Sunagakure by Uchiha Ryu from there you will go to rescue the Kazekage"

"huh!! Why doesn't Ryu nii go then with his speed he should be able to handle it better" Naruto asks

"That… well he has been band from leaving the village," Tsunade said

"Really?" Naruto was shocked

"Really," Ryu says as he opens the door "it's kind of a long story. The other four villages threatened to go to war with Konoha unless I was not allowed to leave the land of fire"

"Why?"

"Well I guess I did some little things a while back" Ryu just smiles

"Little things!!! You call breaking into the secret library of all four hidden villages" Tsunade yell's out in frustration.

"It's not like they have proof" Ryu smiled at the frustrated Tsunade.

It was half a year ago when Ryu was planning to add some lightning and wind techniques to his arsenal but he had already learned all of the Justu in Konoha including the one he had taken from the Root's HQ.

So Ryu decided to "lend" some from his friend in Kumo and Suna. So while he was at it he decides, why not just from the other villages too.

Although they did not catch him in the act. The leaders of the villages were able to conclude that it was him after some investigation.

This scared them as he could come and leave their villages without being caught. but because they didn't have proof, they could only force Konoha not to allow him to leave.

It is not like they can stop him if he wants to leave as no one would want to fight Konoha at its current strength.

"Enough about that we have to go rescue the Kazekage." Ryu says changing the topic "you guys go get ready I will send to there as soon as you are ready"

Ryu was bothered by the rescue mission. With the team's strength if they could not handle it he might as well commit suicide.

But just in case he has a way to monitor them.

Soon Naruto and the others appear a few kilometers away from Suna. They quickly made their way towards the village. They found out that Gaara has been taken away for some time now.

When they the situation of the village Karin and Sakura offered to help out curing Kankuro who was poisoned and then create an antidote for it

"Karin you a sensor like Ryu, can track them," Kakashi asks as he has worked with Ryu and knew how he could use his senses to track others.

"let me try" Karin closes her eyes

"I can sense it, they when in that direction" she points at the direction the chakra went.

"let's go" Kakashi say as they all moved with granny Chiyo who offered to help.

One their way, they were blocked by an Akatsuki member who was sent to stop them 'Uchiha Itachi'

"oh so it's the famous clan killer," granny Chiyo says

"It's been a long time Kakashi san, Naruto" Itachi start up a conversation.

He looks at the others but doesn't say anything to them.

"Itachi what have you guys done to Gaara?" Naruto questions Itachi "if anything happens to him I don't care what I would have to do but I will destroy you guys"

Itachi doesn't talk he raise his hand from a sign.

"Oh no don't look into his eye" Kakashi tries to warn them but it was too late.

All of them feel into a Genjutsu. Only Kakashi was not affected.

"it seems you have improved since the last time that we have met" Itachi compliments.

"I have picked up a few tricks after the state you left me," Kakashi says

*FLASHBACK*

"So your telling you couldn't break out of Itachi's Tsukuyomi?" Ryu looks at Kakashi laying on the bed he had just finished healing him from the effects of the Genjutsu.

"Yes, before I knew it I was already helpless" Kakashi answered in a gloomy voice.

"You know you could have countered it with your Mangekyo right" Ryu speaks after some time

Kakashi jolted up a bit hearing. He wasn't fond of using his Sharingan as it drains too much chakra.

Ryu closes his eye not knowing if to laugh or cry. He had always wondered why Kakashi was stuck in Tsukuyomi even though he had a Mangekyo while Sasuke could get out of it using a normal Sharingan turns out he didn't use it.

[AN: I think this should the case. But it is my opinion]

Ryu continues "I know you can't use it for a long period like Uchihas but it should be able to get out of it"

Due to the seal that Ryu put on Kakashi he doesn't have a problem with his chakra reserves as he has Kage level chakra around that time.

But when the Sharingan is active it takes a large amount of chakra to use it. Kakashi can maintain the normal Sharingan for a long but the same can't be said for the Mangekyo as he can only use three {KAMUI} and five if he pushes it.

Now with his Mangekyo active, he was able to resist the Tsukuyomi.

"Hmm! Then let me how much you can see with those eyes of yours" Itachi said
