CHPATER 17: Meeting the Eternal Dragon

Some of the anbu descended into the wreckage, uncovering the hidden entrance to the Root base as they entered the base. What they found inside sent chills to their skin. The laboratory was filled with body parts in glass bottles and dead bodies, many of them in various states of mutation and decay. As they kept looking around the laboratory,they found that most of the bodies here were bodies of people who went missing in the village without any traces.The bodies had been used in brutal experiments, resulting in monstrous abominations.

The anbu started moving whatever they found in the base to the surface. Sarutobi Hiruzen's face grew darker with each discovery. "Damnit Danzo, you have really done it this time," he said, his voice a low growl.

Hiro stood by, feeling a mix of relief and sorrow. He had exposed Danzo, but he didn't expect Danzo to be this evil with his experiments even using civilian people of Konoha .The atrocities of Root were laid bare for all to see, sending chills to everyone who saw them.

As the investigation and search continued, Hiro felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see Shisui, his friend's face a mask of concern. "You did what you had to do, Hiro. But this is far from over. Danzo won't go down without a fight."

"I know," Hiro replied, his voice resolute. "But I'll be ready. This is just the beginning. Whatever it takes, I'll stop him. For the sake of the village, and for those who've suffered because of his actions."

Hiro then sign-in his head while near the collapsed building of Root.

Sign-in complete. Reward: Contract Scroll of the Eternal Dragon Ryujin. You can locate it in the system inventory. The system replies.

Hiro then tells himself to check it later when everything dies down.

The Hokage turns to face the crowd, his expression grim. "I am deeply sorry for what you are all seeing here, I'm sure some of the corpses you may see might be relatives of yours. I will allow them to be returned to their families and have proper burials. My condolences for the deceased families and as you now know I have punished Danzo to atone for his deeds stripping him of his position.I hope you don't fight amongst yourselves now that we are at war.

"This is all I can do as a friend,Danzo, Hiruzen thought to himself.

Hiro looking at Hiruzen sneers in his heart, thinking, way to go Hiruzen way to go, using words to save your friend from death sentence. He turns to Shisui, Fugaku and the rest of the Uchiha who were currently present. Fugaku then tells them to leave together since they had seen whatever they wanted to see. Hiro then departs following them to the Uchiha clan.

As the night drew to a close, the village clan heads regrouped with their members, planning their next move. The Uchiha compound was on high alert, and Hiro knew that the coming days would be crucial. Danzo's machinations had been exposed, but that guy was cunning and ruthless and he will never stop till he gets what he wants.

In the depths of the night, Hiro stood alone, gazing at the moonlit sky. He felt the weight of his responsibilities as an Uchiha and a member of Konoha, the burden of his newfound power, and the anticipation of the battles ahead. But he was ready. The wrath of the Uchiha had been unleashed, and Hiro would see this through to the end.

Hiro outside his room,decides to check exactly what he got from the system, he then takes the rewarded scroll out of the system's inventory. The scroll was old, its parchment yellowed and delicate. It bore the insignia of a dragon, a creature only whispered about in legends but never fully brought to light.

Hiro carefully unrolled the scroll, revealing the contract scroll of the Eternal Dragon, Ryujin, a creature mentioned indirectly in ancient texts but never seen in the anime. According to the scroll, Ryujin was a dragon of immense power and wisdom, believed to have existed since the founding of the Hidden Villages.

With a sense of awe and reverence, Hiro signed the contract, his blood sealing the pact with the legendary beast. Immediately he completed the ritual, he suddenly felt his location changed scaring him a bit. He started looking around and to his amazement he was currently not in his compound but within a huge cave-like mountain which he had no knowledge of even from the anime. He looks at his hand which still had the scroll but the scroll was shining this time.

The system alerts him of a sign-in location explaining that there are special places which he can sign-in at but only with the system alerting him of such a place.

Hiro was about signin-in when all of a sudden the ground trembled beneath him as a colossal figure emerged from the depths of the cave which seemed unending.

The Eternal Dragon, Ryujin, materialized, its scales shimmering like polished obsidian under the moonlight. Its eyes, a deep, ancient gold, locked onto Hiro with an intensity that seemed to pierce his very soul.

"Who dares disturb this dragon's peace?" the dragon's voice rumbled, deep and resonant, echoing through the cave. Its presence was awe-inspiring, a testament to its legendary status.

Hiro stepped forward, meeting the dragon's gaze with unwavering determination with his sharigan flickering in the darkness. "I am Hiro Uchiha. I seek your power and wisdom to defeat those who threaten the peace of our world."

Ryujin's eyes narrowed, scrutinizing the young ninja before him as the Dragon unleashed his Dragon Might on Hiro testing his will which Hiro didn't disappoint standing firm without faltering. "An Uchiha, wielding the power of the Sharingan,the bloodline of Indra.

Intriguing. Very well, Hiro Uchiha, I shall grant you my aid since I had something with your ancestor maybe being with you I can stretch myself after being in this forsaken place alone for several millennia. But know this: my power is not to be taken lightly."

Hiro nodded, feeling the weight of the dragon's words. "I understand.

Together, we will bring justice to those who have wrought havoc upon our world."

The dragon let out a low, approving growl. "So be it. Call upon me using the scroll in your hand when you are in need, and I shall fight by your side."

The small shining scroll that was in Hiro's hand then becomes big, that he had to use his two hands to hold it from falling. He then remembers he was interrupted during signin-in by the trembling,"Sign-in" he mentally says.

Sign-in completed. Rewards: Controlled Mastery of Haki techniques. He suddenly receives knowledge of how to use all the Haki including the Rokushiki and Conqueror's Haki from the onepiece world.

The Dragon suddenly looks at Hiro once again. It felt a certain kinda of might and pressure from this young Uchiha, it dismisses it as feeling delusional from sleeping for centuries.

With that, Hiro vanished in a burst of smoke, appearing in his courtyard once again. He tests his new techniques and realized that he couldn't keep up with some of them because he didn't have a monstrous physique like that of people from the onepiece world but with the sage body and taijutsu training he'll come around. He goes backs to his bed, laying on it as he tries to get some sleep from having a long day.
