A voice on the other end revealed, "Kira-san, KiShin has extended an invitation for you to become their artist and bring their ideal manga to life!" Kira's expression darkened as it became clear it was his editor on the line.

Kira frowned, comprehending his editor's words but shaking his head firmly, "I'm sorry, but I'm not interested." His dedication to his ongoing manga remained unwavering.

His editor persisted, emphasizing the significance of the opportunity, "Kira-san, you must realize that KiShin and Shounen Jump are already business partners. This is a remarkable chance! KiShin has offered a highly favorable deal, and they're one of Japan's fastest-growing companies!"

Kira Toriyama, adjusting his glasses thoughtfully, replied, "That's all well and good, but I can't abandon my current work, even for them." He was known for his steadfast determination.

His editor sighed, expressing regret, "It's a shame, Kira-san. KiShin has offered an 80 million yen contract-"

The editor hadn't even finished his sentence when Kira Toriyama hastily responded, "Alright, I'll accept."

The most sensible approach was to hand this story outline over to the authors who would craft the manga themselves.

Masato regarded Shin with admiration, and he eagerly moved closer to shake hands with him. Shin offered a wry smile and accepted the handshake. While shaking Shin's hand, Masato introduced himself enthusiastically, saying, "Hello! I'm Masato Kishimoto! It's a pleasure to meet you!" He couldn't hide his excitement at shaking hands with the mastermind behind the video games he cherished.

The slightly chubby young man, Eiichiro Oda, who shared a similar high school uniform with Masato, introduced himself with a friendly grin, "I'm Eiichiro Oda. Nice to meet you." He smiled warmly at Shin.

Shin acknowledged their greetings with a smile and turned his attention to the bespectacled man who appeared older among them.

Observing the scene, Kira Toriyama spoke up, "Hey, I feel a bit out of place here..."

All eyes turned toward Kira Toriyama upon hearing his remark. Masato and Eiichiro had spent time with him in the waiting room earlier.

Sensing the attention, Kira Toriyama awkwardly introduced himself, "Good morning, everyone. I'm Kira Toriyama."

Masato and Eiichiro were taken aback, their eyes widening as they exclaimed in unison, "You're the author of Dr. Slump and Monkey Boy!"

A while later, Shin extended an invitation for them to sit, and a pot of coffee had been prepared on the table.

Masato and Eiichiro also fixed their gaze on Shin, eager to learn more.

All eyes focused on Eiichiro Oda, who stroked his chin with one hand. Shin gazed at Eiichiro with surprise, and Eiichiro continued, "In fact, I was planning to start with an experimental one-shot manga before diving into the larger project I had in mind."

Kira and Masato nodded in understanding, but Shin regarded Eiichiro Oda with a stunned expression, silently thinking, "So, even without my influence, he would still have created 'One Piece'?"
