Having heard that familiar, sonorous voice, Xiu Ying swiftly turned, her long, knee-length hair flying about. Jet black strands of hair cascade down her shoulders, covering both her chest and her back.

She blinks twice. The tall, handsome man standing at the door wore ordinary black robes, nothing like the one he wore last night.

It wasn't even silk but linen, a material lower than that of the robes he wore last night.

A long sword hung from his back. Half of his face was hidden under a golden hat.
