You can stop staring at me now " I said to Alex the next day, it was currently Saturday and since I came back home late yesterday night, I just told her about the date with Shawn and she has been squeaking and staring at me.

If you are wondering what happened after Shawn kissed my yesterday night, well I broke the kiss few minutes later and then I told him I would think about his question. it was so awkward for me but he kept on grinning everytime he stared at my face. he took me home later and then pecked my cheek.

" I want to look at you the whole day " she said and smiled again

" Soon you would have a boyfriend " she added and I forced a smile.

" I'm glad you really had fun yesterday. but I'm more curious to know how much fun you would have today " she said

" I'm curious too trust me. " I said truthfully. the truth is I'm nervous because I don't even know if Adam likes me or he just wants to hang out with me. and in school he is also known as the top playboy.

" It will be fine. just like yesterday was fine too. you just have to let loose and have fun like I said " she said and I nod.

" I wonder if Adam will also ask you to be his girlfriend today " she said and winked at me.

" He won't so stop acting like that. " I said and gave her a frown.

" Have faith will you. " she said and I nod.

" When are you meeting him to study ? " she asked.

" By two " I said

" It's almost one so I suggest to hasten so you can be done. is he picking you up too ? " she asked.

" Yes, I texted him your address " I said and she nodded.

Before I could alter another word, my phone started ringing, my mum's face appeared on the caller id and I gave Alex a death glare

" You sent mum the pictures didn't you " I hissed

" Did I ?. oh I have a concussion " she said playing dumb

I tossed a pillow at her before she ran out of the room laughing. I turned back to my phone and then tapped the receive button.

" Honey " her voice makes me smile as I stare at her face on the screen. it was a video call

" Hi mum " I said giving her a smile.

" Oh you look so nice. did you straighten your hair ? " she asked even though it was pretty obvious I did, I know she knew that already because she has seen the pictures.

" Alex did it " I said touching my hair.

" Oh I love that girl " she said and I rolled my eyes.

" So how was your date honey ? " she asked

" Well I went to a fancy restaurant, had leaves and beef for dinner too " I said and she laughed.

" Leaves . oh you are rich now " she said.

" Well Shawn's dad owns the place " I said and she nodded her head.

" That's nice. so did you have fun ? " she asked

" Yes I did actually. we watched a movie and he kissed me " I said

" Oh you had your first kiss finally " mum said clapping her hands.

" That's your first kiss ? " Alex yelled and rushed into the room.

" Oh my God would you stop " I stared at her

" Hi Mrs Walkers " Alex said and she waved at the camera

" Stop making me feel so old. " mum grumbled and we all laughed.

" Yes it's her first kiss. " mum said to Alex before turning to me " How was it ? " she asked me.

" I don't know, it was okay I guess " I muttered and mum stared at me.

" Don't you like him ? " she asked me again.

" I do. " I said " He asked me to be his girlfriend too " I said and she smiled.

" She likes Adam more " Alex said

" Adam ? " mum said staring at me

" Yes that's the guy that's taking her out today " she answered

" Oh wow you are all grown up now. going on dates " mum said grinning.

" Stop " I said and laughed.

" Don't worry I will send you a picture this night. if I must say, Adam is a very hot guy " Alex said and mum smiled.

" Oh I can't wait to see it " mum said and I rolled my eyes.

" Okay we have to go, her date is in few minutes and we have to get ready " Alex said and my mum nodded.

" Okay that's true. thanks Alex. " mum said and Alex blushed

" Bye mum " I said

" Bye honey I love you, have fun " she said

" I love you too mum " I said and then blew her a kiss and then she hanged the call.

I turned to look at Alex who smiled innocently at me. I burst into laughter.

" You are such a fake " I said still laughing and she went to get her make up kit.

I stood behind the door, checking the time over and over again because Adam was late. it was almost three and there was still no sign of him or his car anywhere.

" Do you think he will stand me up ? " I turn to look at Alex with worry

" No he would never or I will kill him " she said holding up her fist.

" Or worse what if something happened to his mum " I said panicking.

" Hey, hey look at me. " Alex said and turned my face to hers.

" It's fine, nothing happened and he won't stand you up so don't get worried. just stay pretty " she said and rubbed my cheeks.

" Okay " I muttered before smiling genuinely at her.

" You are always going on dates these days, I didn't pin you for someone like my sister " Raphael said before putting on the TV.

" Mind your business " I was about to say but Alex beat me to it.

" You are just mad because she isn't going on a date with you " she added with a smirk.

" urg " he scrowled at her before turning back to the tv he wanted to watch.

" I don't think he is coming anymore " I said with a frown.

Did he stand me up?. he could have just told me if he wasn't interested in taking me out in the first place, why did he have to make a fool of me. well a player will always be a player, I don't know why I got my hopes up for nothing.

" He is here " alex said almost yelling as she pulled me to look outside the window.

He pulled the helmet off his head and then got off his bike, wait I didn't know he owned a bike?. am I supposed to get on that thing with him

I rushed outside the door,okay I was pushed outside the door by Alex who gave me a grin.

I composed myself and watched as he walked up to the porch, as I stood there, I took everything in, from his leather jacket to his black jeans and his white tee shirt to his black boots. his hair was messier than ever thanks to the helmet and it made him sexier. I can't belief I called someone sexy

As soon as he sights me, his face lit up in a smile and I couldn't help but smile at him too, all my worries varnishing permanently. my chest was so tight and I could feel the tension even though he was still far away. with every step he took towards me I could feel my breathe hitching in my chest. I was suddenly finding it so hard to breathe.

I didn't feel this way when Shawn came yesterday, well maybe because I didn't see him walk up the porch.

" Hey " I found myself saying as soon as he finally got to me.

" Hey, I'm sorry I'm late " he said and gave me another smile.

" I didn't wait that long " I lied and smiled at him in return.

" You didn't bring your car ? " I asked him as I pointed to the motorcycle.

" That's why I'm late, my car suddenly didn't want to start. I'm sorry " he said but I wasn't listening to him, I was watching how his lips moved, it made me want to kiss him here

" It's fine but I didn't know you own a motorcycle " I said

" I don't really ride it unless it's kind of necessary " he said and scratched the back of his head.

" Sorry to interrupt this romantic gathering but can I get a picture ? " Alex said smiling innocently.

" Really ? " I said under my breathe and gave her a frown. Adam stood for a while just staring at the both of us.

" You don't have to if you don't want to, just igno.. " I started speaking before I was pulled abruptly by him

I held my breathe as his hands wrapped around my waist, he was posing for the picture but all I could think of was stupid thoughts. I stared at his face as he smiled at Alex, revealing his dimples. I think I'm going to have a heart attack or maybe I'm going into a cardiac arrest because my heart won't stop beating.

" Thank you " she said and Adam let me go, I suddenly miss his arms around me

" Have fun and be home before eleven " she said and Adam nodded.

She winked at me before entering the house. The air is suddenly tight as I am left alone with Adam outside. although it's actually hot outside today, I can't help but feel so cold inside.

" By the way, you look pretty " he said and dipped his hand into his pocket.

" Thank you " I said and looked myself over.

" I couldn't get you anything and I'm sorry. I was just bothered about standing you up " he said

" It's fine. " I said and gave him a smile.

" Lets go so we can study early to have fun later " he said and I nodded as I followed him

We walked down the porch back to his parked motorcycle. I stared at it with an odd look.

" I take it as you have never ridden a motorcycle before " he asked but it felt more like a statement.

" When you aren't wrong because I have never ridden one before. is there any way to change your mind about this " I said and he chuckled.

" Maybe we can just walk to Starbucks " I said and cringed, he continued to laugh, the sound of his laughter was so pleasant to my ear. why did I feel so different around Adam.

" Well we might die of thirst before we get there. it's not so bad I promise " he said holding out a helmet to me.

I nod my head in disapproval as I stared at the helmet in front of me.

" Trust me " he said and then he put the helmet on my head before putting his on his head.

" You just have to hang on to me so tight and you will be fine. okay ? " he said, his eyes giving me assurance.

" Okay " I said and then watched him as he sat on the motorcycle. I held unto him as I sat behind him too.

He started the bike and it jerked forward, making me wrap my hands around him quickly so I don't fall off.

" Hold on tight. here we go " he said and I held him tighter and he started the bike. we drove out of the neighborhood into the road.

I closed my eyes and let the breeze blow on my face, my hand holding him tighter, I could smell his cologne and I must say he smelt really nice.

With only one thing on my mind, I was fucking close to Adam and I loved it...
