James slammed his palm on the desk, the sound echoing through the office. "Cut the crap, Mark. What were you doing in her office?"
Mark's smirk widened. "Just catching up with an old friend. Is that a crime now?"
"An old friend?" James scoffed. "Is that what you're calling it?"
"What would you prefer I call it?" Mark leaned forward, his eyes glinting with challenge. "Former lover? The one that got away?"
