The Final Talk

Xavier: I am going to bare my heart and I hope you listen before you make any decision. Can you do that Yuki?

Yuki nodded.

Xavier: You piqued my curiosity the first moment laid my eyes on you, so little yet feisty.

Yuki can clearly recalled the coffee incident.

Xavier: When I realised you are a woman, I am all gear to meet you. This is the reason the personal assistant position was created when I saw your application by chance. The moment I see your clear brown eyes, you have me. Whatever happens from then on till now is to have you with me. With you, my intention is wholly honorable - cross my heart and hope to die if I ever lie to you. Would you give me chance?

Yuki couldn't wrap everything in her mind,"Do you love me?"

Xavier kneel with one leg and hold her hands in his. He answered as best as he could,"I do not know what is love but this is the first time I felt this way. I became restless because you are living in a low cost area, I fret over who your friends are, I get worked up because you are not being treated right, I agonized over the fact that someone is flirting with you, I am concerned over your missing meals, I missed you every single moment you are out of my sight. If these are components of love then maybe it's love. Perhaps wishing your face was the first I see in the morning and the last when I go to bed is also consider love. If all these are a part of love then yes, I love you. Otherwise, I can tell you all the different emotions I felt over different occasions for you to decide if I love you. All these feelings are new to me. If you must know, I also thought of possessing you fully. You do not know how much joy I felt when you consented my love making yesterday. Will you be mine?"

Yuki saw sincerity in his eyes and heard his heartfelt confession,"Yes." She kissed him voluntarily but as Xavier gather her close, she stop him with a light push on his chest. "I can't, not until I've enough rest,"she blushed.

Xavier kiss her one more time,"Don't worry love, I am contented with just holding you to sleep tonight. Shall we finish our dinner before it gets cold and watch a movie?"

Yuki flashed him a smile,"That is a very good idea."

Yuki fell asleep halfway through the movie. Xavier brought her back into his room and held her tight to sleep.

Sunday morning was bright and shine. Yuki discovered that Alex has delivered her clothes for the week earlier to Xavier's place while she was knocked out yesterday. Xavier has also wrapped up her studio apartment and arranged everything into the guest bedroom in his penthouse. Yuki wanted to object but Xavier reasoned it is for security purposes now that she is with him. He has enemies after years of ploughing through tough negotiations, projects and planning execution, they have eyes on him and they will find out that she is a one way ticket to him.

Yuki suggested for them to go grocery shopping after lunch. Xavier agrees but stated that he is only there as man power, if there is one thing he couldn't do is cooking. Yuki laughter is like sweet melody to his ears.

They were not disturbed by the attention that was showered on them from passerby and the supermarket crowd. Xavier pushed the shopping trolley alongside Yuki with patience. He help to place items on higher rack into the trolley for Yuki.

Suddenly a doubt crossed her mind,"Xavier, can I still work with you?"

Xavier surprisingly said,"It is up to you as long as you stay within my sight. For the record, you did relief Hans and Linda a lot the last 3 months and they are taking for granted you are special to me hence I will be more lenient towards imperfections. We are going to complete the acquisition of Emperor Empire by year end, I am sure they will be glad if you can help until then."

Determination shown on Yuki face,"I will continue to work even after year end. I still need to pay of my family debt. Please do not do anything, it is my responsibilities."

We cooked dinner, rather I cook and Xavier is making a mess until I kicked him out of the kitchen vicinity. He went to make a few calls in his study while I finish up the preparation. As he hugged me to sleep, I told him it's a pity that I am unable to see Casey and HuangMin as often as I like anymore.
