Now for context, in the culture he is apart of Slavery is still a legal thing to do, though there are two types.

Concubine Slaves which are women who desire to be with possible heirs or higher ranking members of various clans but have no real standing within Saharan Confederation and thus if they want to possibly have a luxurious life they sell themselves into Slavery at a Premium, though Females are more desired than Futa's do to the biology of Futa's having smaller Vaginal tracts compared to females and thus are less desirable to other Futa's for the most part unless they undergo surgery of some kind.

And Criminal Slaves, these are the types of slaves who have done various crimes within the confederation warranting them to lose their rights and be turned into slaves as a result, most of these slaves if not bought by anyone would be sent to the western clans to be thrown into the mines there and work hard labor for however there sentence is before being given there freedom.

There are also sub types as well but are uncommon or rare to come across in most slave traders.

Beast/Monstrous Slaves, these are less people and more animalistic and beast like in nature, the can maybe walk on two legs or down on all fours, either have little speaking skills or none at all, but all can surprisingly be bred or be bred by these beasts and thus people do seem to want to buy them as there is a market with many selling at high amounts.

Black Listers, these are enemies of the confederation or people have done extremely bad things to the confederation are marked for execution and the only way they can be saved is if they are bought by anyone, but few are willing to purchase them due to the potential danger of having them anywhere near them and not secured by thick and heavy chains.

Unknown Slaves, these slaves are those that fit in none of the category and most slavers have no idea how to price them due to their strange appearances and nature unfamiliar to the people of the Confederation and the rest of the outside world, it isn't even known if they are actually from this world or not.
