Crystal's P.O.V
I heard the alarm beeping loudly as I was having my beautiful slumber. I ignored it, but it didn't do any good. Instead, it became even louder. I groaned and turned off the alarm. I laid back on my bed and slept back. I was finally having my peace and quiet until my sister came in.
"Crystal, wake up," she said as she opened the curtains.
"Oww, my eyes," I replied as the sunlight entered my eyes.
"Get up," she said and walked towards me.
"You will be late for school,"
I ignored her words and closed my eyes, and before I knew it, I was on the floor. She rolled me over.
"Oww," I groaned in pain.
"Emma, seriously."
"Get ready for school, and I ain't gonna say it again," she said and left.
I stood up and did a little stretch. I went into the bathroom and did my morning routine. I wore my baggy trousers and top with sneakers. I did my curly hair in a ponytail and looked at myself in the mirror. I decided to put a jacket on, and yh I ate that drip. I carried my bag and headed downstairs. I saw my mom in the kitchen making breakfast. I went into the kitchen.
"Morning mom," I said and gave her a hug.
"Morning sweetheart," she responded.
I sat on a chair in the dining room, and she dropped my breakfast on the table.
"Here's your toast," she said.
"Thanks mom", I replied.
Then I saw Emma coming downstairs with Ryan.
"Hello, little sister," Ryan said as he came towards me.
"What are you guys still doing here?"I asked.
"Is that how you greet your siblings in the morning?" Emma said as she squeezed my cheeks.
"Emmma," I whined.
"I'm not a baby anymore."
"Well, you are still a baby to me," she responded.
"And besides, we were just about leaving."
"Yh," Ryan said.
I finished my breakfast and stood up.
"Leaving already," my mom asked.
"Yeah," I replied.
"I will take you to school," Ryan said.
"No, I will just take the bus," I replied.
"And beside you have to get back home, you don't want to keep your wife waiting."
"OK, have a good day," he said.
I left the house and walked to the bus station. I took a bus and left for school.
I arrived at school and took in a deep breath. This year, I'm in the 11th grade, and I'm gonna make the best out of it.
I went inside and went to my locker, and then i saw Lily. Lily is my one and only friend ever since freshman.
"Crystal," she said and came towards me.
"Hi Lily," I said.
"My BFF, I missed you so much," she hugged me.
We separated, and she looked at me.
"I guess you never change," she said.
I looked at myself. What is she talking about.
Well, I guess she never changed either.
Lily is a spitting image of Dove Cameron. People tend to always mix her up with the celebrity, and she's also rich and has a life full of luxury. But I guess what made me so attached to Lily throughout the years is how king-hearted she is and how down to earth she is, too. She is not like one of those arrogant rich kids.
"Hey Crystal," I heard a male voice call my name.
Speaking of arrogant rich kid, here comes one of them. No, the worst of them all and the no.1 person I dislike in this school Xavier Hunts.
I looked in his direction, and he smirked at me.
