Chapter 1 : The Ogre and the human

"Once upon a time , there lived two forces

The demonic race and the human race , both fought like cats and dogs every single time they met"

"teacher!! teacher!!" A student enthusiastically raised his hand.

"yes Daniel? "

"why do they fight? isn't fighting bad?"

Apo chuckled at the innocent boys question.

"hmm let me think"

The small children waited in anticipation , while their teacher is thinking of words to replace war , bloodthirst and vengeance but having a hard time coming up with one.

"you see the king of humans ate the apple of the king of demons , so that's why they got very upset"

The students childishly nodded at his simple answer.

Apo continued the story .

" Then suddenly The heroes arrived from the other world, The 7 great champions of peace.

The heroes shouted "STOP FIGHTING" then scolded both the humans and the demons."

"since then the demons and humans are friends , happily ever after"

Apo is a teenager currently helping a local preschool.

Apo goes here because he likes children it soothes his heart , and the snacks here are awesome.

"read it again! read it again!" the childrens shouted in unison.

"eh but it's almost time for your snack time, and I need to go home too"

The children grumbled and cried when Apo tried to leave . some even hugged his legs to stop him.

'I guess I'll just trick them.'

"hmm do you kids want to see a magic trick?"

The children all nodded and sat on the floor anticipating what the green ogre's gonna do.

He picked up a blanket and held it on two corners with his hands , he threw it in the air and covered apo. before the blanket fell down the green ogre is gone nowhere to be seen.

Actually Apo just jumped out of the window at full speed.

'well fast enough to trick five year old children'

On the way out he saw the caretaker of children just finished baking cookies

"Cookies!!"

He approached the woman who is focused on preparing the table for the children.

he tapped on her shoulder to get her attention and when she turned her head apos index finger hit her cheeks.

"Apo! you cheeky monster "

"hehe~ , can I have one too?"

"help yourself apo , by the way are you going home already?"

"yes ma'am, and the kids are probably searching for me so you should probably go to them soon , Mrs Mariano"

"thank-you dear , I don't know what will I do if you're not here to distract the kids while I cook their meals"

She patted Apo's head , well Mrs Mariano is having trouble reaching his head so he crouched to receive it.

'what are you looking at? ogres need affection too!'

Suddenly a veil of smoke came out of the window where apo came through. Apo rushed through the smoke and what he saw shocked him.

15 kids seating down in a circle, cooking marshmallow on a stick with the burning mouth of the draconian Kid named lucius.

"LOOK GUYS TEACHER APO IS BACK"

The cheeky children all put their eyes on the Tall figure , their eyes gleamed and asked apo to cook with them.

apo face-palmed and did his magic again but this time he disappeared and appeared within 3.34 seconds while holding a tray of cookies.

"kids stop playing with fire and eat this instead"

Suddenly 15 small heads came rushing at him . they threw the marshmallows on the mouth of the draconian kid.

'wow tough kid , he even ate the sticks'

With them distracted at the sweet biscuits , Apo did his magic again and vanished out of the small colorful house.

He then rode his Motorbike to finally go home.

in this world gasoline is not used much because of the more plentiful energy sources , the Mana stones.

A single one can power a house for a whole month.

it also allows to activate water magic systems and Electronics.

This whole flying city that I'm living in is being powered by that same energy.

where did it come from? nobody knows and nobody seems to care. but it is known that these things didn't appear until the heroes arrived.

After these heroes ended the war almost 200 years ago they also brought the power of science .

and in just a little over 100 years The whole continent or even the whole world has advanced a lot in technological , Economical and Cultural departments.

The concept of schools , public hospitals , humans and monster rights , freedom of speech. and many other stuff that made this world a little bit peaceful.

Apo lost in his thoughts , Didn't notice the beautiful woman crossing on the road.

Apo tried to pull the brakes but it was too late, The sound of a loud "thud" can be heard from a mile away. metal plates being crushed.
