Chap. 006 - Meet

Li Jian smiled to himself for no known reason.

Ze Ming who had just entered his study was taken aback. And had a hard time guessing what good thing happened to his boss.

Ze Ming stood stiffly as he observed his boss's unique behavior.

He had worked for Li Jian for the past 3 years. However this was the first time, Ze Ming saw Li Jian's cheerful and contented face.

Even when he won the tender, Li Jian only had a straight face. But this time, Ze ming believed there was something more interesting and fun than winning a tender or lottery.

Li Jian took longer than usual to notice Ze Ming's presence.

"What is it? Why are you just standing there and not talking to me?"

Ze Ming was glad his existence was finally noticed.

"I just wouldn't like to disturb your enjoyment, sir."

"Then, this is the data you requested regarding the Hong family business."

Li Jian's cheerful expression changed instantly. He took the report that Ze Ming gave him. And reading the contents in full.

He then came to the right conclusion in no time.

"So, grandpa doesn't want me to marry the Hong family's daughter because of the territorial dispute matters? Master Hong often deceives someone by buying land under someone else's name. Then sold some of them at a high price to Grandpa."

Li Jian had already guessed that Hong Xing Bei would cheat to gain double or triple the profits in every transaction he made with his business partners. But, thinking about that man was still greedy and justified any means to achieve his goals. Li Jian began to wonder where the intelligent and superior daughter learned her father's character from. But did not imitate his bad character.

Li Jian had known Hong Dai Yu since they were in college and both majored in the same business major. Li Jian knew how ambitious Dai Yu was in trying to show his achievements.

That's why Li Jian's father gave Dai Yu high hopes to become his future daughter-in-law.

But unfortunately, Dai Yu's nature and character are too free and spontaneous. Often a problem for the relationship of two families.

"She's clever. But careless enough. She could make her life easier. But she made anything to be difficult for herself."

Ze Ming nodded slightly after understanding.

"Ah! Did you mean about First Lady Wen's attempt to stay in college while doing odd jobs, sir?"

Li Jian nodded in understanding.

"Schedule me to go there soon."

Ze Ming gave a doubtful look after considering a few things.

"But before did that. Grand Master Quan. He has asked me to schedule your blind date with Young Lady Wen."

Li Jian gently massaged his forehead.

"Is it necessary?" he asked less interested. Because he had already met Wen Yue Yin in person.

Ze Ming moved his head.

"Yes, sir. Because according to him, your comfort is much more important."

Li Jian sneered, "If grandpa was more concerned with my comfort. He shouldn't have forced me to get married soon."

Li Jian wouldn't like to mess around with his marriage. He had been sober since his older brother married as young. Even a time, there would become a time, he should marry without being able to refuse or postpone it.

Li Jian stood up while buttoning his coat.

"Arrange our meeting immediately. I wonder how she would react event we met again after she found out my identity."
