Audrey got home and lay down flat on the bed exhausted. Luke is a demon she cursed. Being a manager earn her thousands of dollars and she wasn't ready to resign yet. She lazily stood up to prepare for the night.

While she was on it, her phone rang. She picked it.

" Hello Xander, what's wrong? She asked in a weary tone to the hotel assistant manager who sounded frustrated

" There's trouble. Mr Hamilton is requesting for a reservation but it's booked already and desert he refused to eat the ones on our menu. He's threatening to check out" he announced agitated ransacking his hair

" I'll be right there. There's no satisfying him. He's the devil's incarnate" she caused ending the call while Zander starred at Luke who obviously heard her call him names. If he knew she was going to swear at him, he wouldn't have put it on speaker. Now he rattled her out. He felt guilty.

Luke face darkened hearing her call him names. She's going to get it when she arrives.

Audrey quickly changed into an a line dress with trainers. She drove off directly to the hotel though it was dark. She alighted and ran to the reception. The receptionist heaved a sigh of relief seeing her so did all the hostess. She is their saving grace they whispered giving her space.

" Xander I'm here, what's the situation? She asked panting

" He's inside. He wouldn't let me in maybe he'll listen to the manager" he suggested trailing behind her. Audrey knocked

" Who is it? No one is allowed to enter" he warned

" It's the hotel manager Audrey Zachary . I was told you have something to discuss with me? She stated

" I didn't ask for you manager. I simply made a reservation and they refused' he snorted

" There's no worry Sir. It's yours. As for the desert what will you prefer? " She asked making the biggest mistake

" Yes. I want some homemade apple pie. I hope you're a good cook cos I want you manager Zachary to prepare it within an hour" he ordered which kept her thinking did he hate her that much perhaps the rumors are true. He's indeed a woman killer: he frustrate everyone including men.

" Yes Sir. " She tried to be polite and left to the kitchen. Isn't he just so naive? How would he know she prepared it when he's not around. She told the chef what to do and the pie was ready.

She knocked at his door and he beckoned her to enter. She set the desert on the table

" It's ready Sir" she fakes tiredness.he walked majestically and sat down eating his desert.

" Should I pour you some wine? she asked

" No need. Get out. Your Stinky face irritates me" he cursed. She ignored him and pour him a glass of wine then trailed off to leave. Only then did he notice her dress. Were she sleeping already? It's their fault for having such a boring assistant.

Audrey was sleepy so she decided to sleep in the guest room . she dozed off and woke up late. Xander didn't bother, she had a hectic day he presumed. Putting things in order. She woke up and saw her neatly ironed tux. She wasn't a morning person but still struggled to take her bath and she was ready for the big day.

The guest for the reservation was coming one by one. Luke's right hand man Bobb went to inform him

"The board members are here at your request" he announced

" I hear you. Tell the hostess Zachary to set the table with wine and meat. "

" Yes sir. The other reservation called that they're on their way"

' that shouldn't be a problem First come first served. Go and carry out my instructions" he demanded glaring at him for been nosy

Bobby relayed his message to her and left as Audrey ordered the staffs to get it done. It was finished within an hour.
